Hey Everyone!

I have been researching a honeymoon trip to Jamaica, however, I'm torn between a few choices. I like Couples Negril and think that would be a great time.

I have also been looking into the new Secrets resorts in Montego Bay called Wild Orchid and St. James. Does anyone know the difference between the two? Also, it appears it is opening at the end of this month so everything would be brand new.

Does anyone have advice/suggestions on which place or resort may be better? Sandals resorts seem to be overpriced as we are looking into less than $3000 for everything. I've never been to Jamaica and we are totally beach/pool people. Definitely looking for adults only, all inclusive, and most activities included. I have heard fun things about Negril such as Margaritaville (which I love) and Rick's Cafe. But I doubt we'd be leaving the resort a lot.

Any help is appreciated! We'll be going right after the wedding in mid-October.

we booked secrets st. james. They are suppose to be amazing and they have amazing deals going on right now since they are brand new! We are not going until December, but you should be fine as far as them working out any opening problems as they will have been open for a good amount of time. Both resorts are basically one whole resort with shared ammenities. It is adults only and on a peninsula, the beaches are man-made I think..but they don't look it. The main difference is that Wild Orchid is more modern decor and is closer to end of the peninsula and the majority of restaurants...the St. James is closer to the spa and is a little quieter and has a more Colonial sophisticated decor. They are suppose to be awesome and I can't wait!
