I posted this in flowers and thought I would post it here too…
So…It’m trying to pick flowers for my Jamaica wedding and its proving to be more difficult than I thought! My colors are fuchsia and orange, and I’m going for a tropical, laid back vibe. I love peonies and other lush big bloom flowers like ranuculus, but peonies are not in season in February and I don’t want to have anything imported. I was thinking about going with native carribean flowers, but I can’t find any good pics.
So, Jamaican brides: do you have pics of your flowers? Bouquets and other decorations would be sooo helpful! xoxo!

Hi @hyphensmith: I’m not a bride, but there is a company in Montego Bay by the name of Tia Flora. Here’s their site . I saw their work at a bridal show here in Jamaica and it was really beautiful. Hope this helps.

Check out floral fantasy. They have done tons of weddings in Jamaica and they have lots of pics on their website. We are using them for our wedding in August! Can’t wait to go back to Jamaica!!!!
I was in the same boat as you – I wanted Peonies but they are not in season. The hot weather will not help either – the heads will fall off and won’t last long. I am leaning towards garden/cabbage rose bouquet. My friend had the same wedding colors as you and she got married in Runaway Bay, Jamaica a few years ago. Her bouquets were very tropical and beautful – orange, tangerine, fusia colors.
