missanonybee53:  I want to know why the one voter so far said they are awful– doe they mean quality, prints….etc?

missanonybee53:  I just had to google it b/c I didn’t know what they were.  There is/was a produce called Incoco that was the same thing, I used to use them a few years ago.  They had stations in the malls and for $5 a girl would do it for you.  Failed at it myself.  Anyway, they lost steam it looks like b/c I can’t find them anyway.

They look cool and stay on well if you take care of them, but are horrible to apply yourself!

    I’ve used them.

For ease of use, that depends on the print. Some of them, like the glitter ones, are really difficult to get to stay on. They need a ton of heat, but even still they can pull off easily. Others are really long term. I’ve had some stay on for 2 weeks. For instance I had the black/white chevron and the mint/white chevron and they were great! Honestly though, you need a good amount of dexterity. You have to cut them just right. If you don’t, they will hang over onto your skin and therefore not stick. If you cut them too small, then you can see your nail on the sides.

As for prints, I think they can be fun. I don’t wear them all the time. I usually pick something a little more subtle.

Lemme try to find some pics on my phone to upload…

missanonybee53:  What’s the rice bag method?  I have a gf who is starting to sell then- so I watched the video she posted, but it mentioned nothing about rice bags!

I personally am not a fan, but that could be due to the fact that in the past two weeks alone I’ve gotten literally 10 invitations to online Jamberry parties (sorry friends, not on facebook to supplement your income!). Plus I don’t really like any of the patterns except for maybe a couple of the navy ones.

I like painting my nails, it’s relaxing to me to spend 45 minutes and just take care of my hands and fingers. One of my best friends swears by them, though.

    Just do you!

I have the mint chevron ones, they are very cute, but I find them a pain to put on and they never stay on for me. I’m probably just not doing something right but I prefer to paint my nails. So while they are cute, they’re just aren’t for me.

stephncollins:  I was about to say the same thing. For all I know, the product itself could be great, but I am way too annoyed by the 19 people peddling them incessantly on my Facebook to ever try them.

I love them and find them super easy to apply. I’ve never had any issues with getting them to fit. I don’t cut them, I just use my other nails to form and break them. I also put a clear coat ontop, and they last two weeks.

Sorry for the poor quality pic.

ETA: I’ve only used the Sally Hansen ones. I didn’t know there were others that need to be heated. Too much work!

I really love them! I just got Pumpkin Spice and Iced for fall and winter. I just did my sister’s nails last week for delivery day and they still look great!
