Hi ladies. Just wondering who has purchased rings from James Allen online, what your experience was, and some pictures? Seems you can get a “bigger bang for your buck” online vs. The brick and mortar, but also seems to good to be true? Can I hear about your experiences and see your rings? A lot of mixed reviews online (getting a different ring than ordered, etc.) Thanks Ladies.

My stone came from JA and my setting came from a local jeweler, so we got the best of both worlds. The ring appraised for a great deal more than my hubby purchased it for, and he said that he had a great expeirence with JA. He chose JA over other sites because they have a larger inventory, you can see the stones, and the ASSET information on light performance is readily available.

I just received my JA ring last week and I am happy beyond words!!!
It was custom made in 6 days and then sent by priority shipping. The diamond is far superior than I expected and has no noticable flaws in it. I am getting it appraised this week and am expecting it will be much higher than what he paid for it. The colour is also extremly white even thogh it was graded a K I beleive it is actually an I/J 1.25c Pear
Absolutely breathtaking quality and they were very easy to contact via email with great customer service. He also got it engraved inside for free.

My fiance got my ring from James Allen and I wouldn’t have had him go anywhere else. I know for a fact that he got a much better deal on this riing than he would have been able to get at a local jeweler. Being able to see the stones’ videos and have a gemologist review 3 stones and give an opinion as to which one was the best performing stone was a definite plus.
Also, my fiance knew he wanted certain specs such as AGS000, high in color, etc., and it was so easy for him to search for a set of stones that fit within those parameters.
I actually don’t know how to take great photos of my ring (this was from our engagement photos), but the halo is much more delicate in real life!

My husband got our engagement ring from James Allen, and had such great derive and beyond expectations that we didn’t have any other considerations for our wedding rings

My SO’s brother ordered his fiance’s ring from James Allen and loved the experience. Her ring is absolutely stunning, too.

I’m curious about them too since they seem to be the only website I can find that sells a thin band solitaire!

my ring is from JA and I was soooo nervous getting it from US and sending to AUS. It was valued a lot more than what we spent on it – I do love it.
One word of caution – go to a jeweller and get measured properly to ensure no mistakes – I had to get mine resized and it was a little stressful again as I had a pave band! Apparently this is a no no for resizing!

We got mine from James Allen too and I was very impressed with them. The ring is exactly what I tried on in a local jewellers but we saved about 1/3 on the price by going withe James Allen. I like that you could see a little video of the diamond, which helped us to decide which one to go for. They were also super speedy! It only took a week between my order and receiving the ring and I live in the UK!
I keep trying to take a photo for you but my cat keeps photobombing!

My ring came from JA. My husband did a great job picking the ring. He said JA gave him 2 phone consultations with 2 different certified jewelers. I took my ring to get cleaned at a jeweler in town, and they were impressed with the ring. What my husband paid and what the ring is worth is a huge difference in a good way. I have had my ring since 2012, and it looks great.

My set is from James Allen. My husband says they were fantastic to work with, and I was pleased with customer service when I ordered his wedding band from them.

James Allen is amazing! I had a wonderful experience shopping for my oval diamond. I ordered like 4 or 5 ovals, and a round before deciding on the one I have. I went to a local jeweler for my halo because JA didn’t have one that was delicate enough for my taste. 🙂

James Allen all the way.
My engagement ring came from there and it couldn’t be more perfect. The stone is IF with D color. 0.40 carat. The setting is platinum.
I could never have gotten the ring I got from a local jeweler, especially from a mall store.
Customer service is the best I’ve seen. I would highly recommend them.

Also wanted to add, the appraisal value is a good chunk higher than what was paid which is awesome.

Such great advice ladies. Feeling a lot better about making an online purchase. With that said, are any of you from Canada? If so, did the shipping process go okay? And was it just your provincial tax amout added? (13% Ontario)
