@alwaysamaid: Aw 🙁 That’s a crappy feeling. I know you said this is the time of year you don’t feel like doing anything, but (and I’m sure you’ve heard this a zillion times) try to keep yourself busy. That’ll help you SOOOO much in your waiting process. Pick up a new hobby, go out with girlfriends, start reading a new book series, etc. Keeping your mind off of the fact that you’re not engaged yet will help you from feeling so down about it. And I promise, as soon as he proposes, you’ll forget all about how much waiting sucked!

Ugh I feel you. I hate January and February. They are two cold, bleak months without anything fun or interesting to break up the monotony. I guess there is Valentine’s Day, but I’m not a big fan of Valentine’s Day and my boyfriend and I never do anything particularly special for it. I always see the light at the end of the tunnel once March hits.

@shirasagi: I am soooooooooo not a winter person either. And isn’t it sad that there’s an extra day in February this year? I know leap years should be exciting and all– but all I can think is, ugh, another more day between me and March!

I feel you, I once thought that Jan or Feb would be when SO proposes but he is making it sound like he hasn’t even started the ring process 🙁 I’m in a blah mood too.

I used to HATE January and February. I’m in Canada, and the winter is just a horrible time of the year weather wise and feels like the longest season. That being said over the last few years my SO, friends and I have found many fun ways to pass the winter months. We all enjoy snow tubing, or we all pitch in and rent a cabin for a winter getaway, go ice skating, ice fishing and even go skiing. It makes the winter months go by alot faster and you have fun too!!! Find some fun activities for you and the SO, it’ll make winter alot more enjoyable. It’s not going anywhere so you might as well make the most of it 🙂

I’m not a winter person either.  I agree it does seem like the next two months drag on forever.  I’m ready for Spring and Summer already.lol
