My Fiance and I got our wedding bands from Jared. Our wedding bands are lovely and we haven’t had a problem with customer service. However, make sure when you purchase your bands that you really love them because after 30 days you can’t return them. And you can only exchange them if you purchase something double the price.

@Koko1977:  I have nothing but good things to say about Jared.


I have two rings from Jared– a blue topaz RHR and an anniversary band.  When I first got the blue topaz ring, a couple diamonds fell out.  They were able to fix the ring and replace the stones (to no cost to me) in under an hour.  The Jared in our city has an on-site jeweler to do all repair work and sizing.


That’s a major plus for me– I hate being without my jewelry for days/weeks.


Also, when we purchased the anniversary band, we had them solder that ring to my wedding set that day.  They noticed one of the diamonds was loose in my wedding band– so they fixed it that day– also to no charge to me.  


I think you really have to consider that when people take the time to write online reviews, people typically only write up about the bad experiences they have.  I think there’s bound to be  possible problems no matter what jewelry store you buy your jewelry from, but I am sold on Jared.

All my jewelry from my Darling Husband is from Jareds and I have NEVER had any problems with them.  From my e ring to wedding band to some earrings and necklace that all from Jared.

My e-ring was custom from Jared, and Fiance bought my 3ct bracelet from there, and I bought him a Tag watch from them. By now, they know us by name and we are always warmly welcomed. LOL We are going to have them make my custom wedding bands as well. I’ve had nothing but good experiences at my Jared.

JARED BLOWWWWWS!  There is not enough space on here for me to type how much I hate them.  I had a very bad experiences in multiple (3) Jared stores so it definitely wasn’t an isolated event.  We got my Neil Lane setting there and I have already had 2 of the pave side diamonds fall out.  I have had the ring a little over a month. They refuse to do anything about it.  They also “forgot” to give my Fiance his piece of paper with the diamond warranty on it. 

Also, they gave him one price, he ordered it, went to pick it up, and it was $1,000 more. He asked why and they said because we were not purchasing the center diamond from them they were charging more.  They also charged my FI’s Jared credit card to transfer a certain setting from one Jared to another.  It dropped his credit score by 40 points.  He was told he was signing up for a Jared rewards card, NOT a credit card.

I could go on and on, but unfortunately I don’t have all day.

@Lily_of_the_valley:  did you get the extended warranty? 


my experience with jareds has been wonderful. once i had my ring i decided i wanted a higher quality diamond so i went back and switching diamonds was a breeze. They clean my ring every time i come in and always re dip it in white gold when i get repairs. I have had to have it repaired twice and it took 3 hours max so i didnt have to go without my ring for long. So far so good.

My sister got her rings from Jared (Neil Lane both rings) and she hasn’t had any trouble with them. I think the key is to make sure you don’t resize rings that have diamonds down the band, as that could cause them to become loose and fall out. She had to get both rings custom made in a size 3.75… she has TEENIE tiny fingers, so if they’d taken the 5 or whatever size her rings came standard, and resized, the diamonds would have fallen out I am sure!

I’ve always had good experiences.  I have the warranty on my e-ring and my wedding ring, and I really like it.  Every six months, I take my ring in for its inspection (for the diamond replacement program they have) and then my rings get cleaned, re-dipped and look brand new again.  Even though I ususally avoid chains, I’m glad I went with a chain so that if/when we move there will be another Jared nearby to go in for inspections and cleanings.
