Which dress! ? I found my dream sottero gown online today too, its the Lorelei dress! i was afraid to order online, but the seller responded right away and answered all my questions. Maybe the people at Jasmine are only available on certain days? You figure if they want to sell a dress they'd answer! Just try again tommrrow, good luck!!
They are approaching the lunar new year (big holiday in Asia) and are bogged down with orders - I think they said they aren't taking any new orders until after new years.

We are not taking any new orders for the final week before our work shop closes on Feb. 3, because we need to focus all of our resources on getting existing urgent orders shipped. Lately, there has been more urgent new orders than we can handle while maintaining good service to our existing clients. So the phone service, Live Chat, and Facebook service are all currently shut down, until Feb. 3. We will be back serving new customers starting Feb. 3. Sorry for the inconvenience but we can't afford to miss any wedding deadlines for our existing clients.
Yeah, they're taking a couple of weeks to get back to people, so you'll just have to be patient. I know you're anxious, but you've still got time. I'm also waiting to hear back, and my wedding a couple of months before yours, so I understand...
I heard they take a month off for the Lunar new year so production would kick in full gear from March
@uphoric: From what I understand James will start looking at new orders after the 3rd of February. They want to get as many dresses finished as possible before everything closes down.
@Girasole: How amazing are Maggie dresses? I'm torn between the Giovanna and karena royale. Love them both. Im wondering if they're away for the chinese new year maybe?
What's your opinion? Between the Karena and Giovanna? Any opinions greatly appreciated :-)
Thanks everyone. I guessed it was the lunar new year. I do have time but I thought I'd get a headstart to avoid last minute stress. I can wait till 3rd Feb.
I love the Giovanna dress! I've never liked halters, they make me feel confined lol. But, they are both very beautiful and the corset tie on both really makes for a cute detail!
@hiheel: did you get your dress from them as well? If so, how was it and are you happy with it?
@Girasole: The floral detail on the lorelei top is gorgeous. I'm sure you'd look great in it. Yes the giovanna is gorgeous. They're both strapless. I don't think I could pull off a halter. Yes I've heard corset ties can save you alterations costs.
@uphoric: My daughter got the VW Gemma for the ceromony, the MS Paris for the reception and a going away dress, 5 bridesmaid dresses & 2 flower girl dresses all from Jasmine's. Very happy with all of them, the quality is excellent.

Chinese New Year! The factories all basically shut down for the month, I've been told!
@uphoric: My wedding is also in October and I wasn't planning to contact them until May or June - James said somewhere that the summer is their slow season so it's easier to order things and get them on time or earlier if you need to.
@faeriehazel: It's best to contact them sooner than that. It takes at least 12 weeks to get your dress and you want it at least 2 months before the wedding to be on the safe side. Best to order 6 months in advance.

Hi bees, I've decided that I would like jasmines bridal shop to make my wedding dress because of all the wonderful reviews I've read and pics I've seen. I've got my heart set on a Maggie sottero :-) for some reason I can't get in touch with them. I've facebooked, emailed, called but there's been no reply for 7 days. Im starting to get anxious because I want to get the ball rolling. Anyone have any idea what's going On? Or what I should do?
