I think I'm going to order my dress from Jasmine's Bridal Shop. I've got several friends satisfyed with JK Dress, but at Jasmine's you can choose extra fine work and fabric, and they promise the dress to be 95-99% similar to the original. I've tried the dress in a salon, and it was very stiff and proper. Would I be diasppointed over the dress from China?! It's nice when it's tight and firm, if you know what I mean
Here's the dress I want to order: http://jasminesbridalshop.com/index.php?task=productdetail&id=3261
I think they do great work. I have seen some of their pictures and it seems promising.
I can't vouch for them personally though.
Please keep us updated on your journey. I hope all goes well!!
I would love to hear about it if you do go with them! I am considering using them but I would love to hear from someone who had a good experience!
@pony the horse: I just ordered my second dress from them yesterday. I choosed the designer grade lace as the dress bodice has alot of lace, and I dont want the lace to look cheap. Also you could check their work over at their facebook page. Look up jasmine's bridal shop. They show what kind of material and services each one of these dresses ordered in (i.e: premium or designer grade, material or craftmanship). I customized the train and also added veil option to it. Ill keep you bees posted on how it goes!! Fingercrossed all goes well!
This is the dress i ordered

Thank you for so many replies! :)) I'm so eager to order the dress, but I have measure myself first ;) Looking forward for updates, ay_rad! :)
I think I'd look best in an ivorycolor, but I'm afraid the exact lace pattern doesn't excist in that color... Well, it seems like Jasmine's has good customer service :D Those measures...
Hi girls! I've orderes the dress at Jasmine's, and so far I'm SUPER IMPRESSED with their customer service! They ask me a lot of questions, and they are very precise in their formulations. Some of my friends have experience with JK Dress, and JK Dress were very short when answering questions ;)
Sorry about the english, I may be out of practice ;)
@pony the horse: You do not pay for the dress with Jasmine's unti you are happy with their work. That is saying something right there. They are confident in their work and that is what you want! Good luck!
I have received photos of fabric samples, and I'm happy. I'll try to upload some pics here. I'm wearing the original dress in one photo.
I'm happy with option 1!

Number 2 doesn't have the same pattern "between" the main laces. It's hard to see, but it is there, in the picture of me in the dress. It also has the right "ending" in the fabric, with the waves, That's why I think the first, because it IS the most authentic ;)
@pony the horse: It's hard to see, exactly, from the photos posted what the original looks like (the lace, that is). BUT, I can tell there is some sort of texture between the "bunches".
Even if it's not 100% exactly, the option 1 is closer than option 2.
Hope you post more on this with photos of the replica when you get it!!!!
Yes Ryna, I will continue to post photos :) :) And thank you for your opinion :)
opinions, please :) i'm not satisfied with the transition from the lace to the bust area, and bust area is more rounded on the copy than the original, from the bust to the armpit. the original fitting is great, but the replica looks quite shapeless... hope that's because it's on a sample doll :)
@pony the horse: I cant see the last 4 pics you posted.. Is it me? Or it wasnt uploaded properly? There are error symbol on it.
Upload it again please?
now i've uploaded again, do you see the pictures? :) :)
Hmm, sad the file size is being reduced...
@pony the horse: yes, now I do!!!!!! thank you!
IMHO, I think the dress is georgeous!! As for the shape prolly because its on the mannequin? The mannequin doesnt have hips! I would say it will look wonderful on you!
From the pics the replica look so similar with the original. May I ask what grade of services you pick? And grade of material?
I'm still waiting for my dress too. They promised me they will send pictures on the 21st of Sept. Excited!!!
Thank you :D :D It's to have some opinions. I'm also concerned about the shape of the dress, but yes, as you say I hope it is because of the mannequin. I'll ask about it in the next mail :) How long veil should I have? I chose designer grade for everything – fabric and craftmanship ;) I think you should post your photos here when you get them! :)
ok! update on my dress. I have to pick the lace for the trim and the bodice of the dress. They gave me choices of the replicated lace pattern or choosing somewhat similar pattern of lace.
The original lace pattern

replicated lace pattern

option 1 lace pattern

option 2 lace pattern

option 3 lace pattern

Opinions please! Thank you!!!
JAsmines does a great job!! They just finished my dress, got the pictures yesterday. It is a replica of the Sottero and Midgley ASM 3297
I will be ordering a second dress for them, TOTALLY recommend. Their customer service is amazing. I was involved in the whole process (choosing the lace, satin, beading etc.) here goes!
ay_rad: I think opt. 3 would be best - in my opinion. Replica is to small, opt. 1 is similar in shape, but not in style...
Ladies... I have to jump in as I just ordered my dress from Jasmines Bridal shop too. Here is the dress I ordered: http://www.jasminesbridalshop.com/index.php?task=productdetail&id=5458
But I did make a few changes.
Their customer service is beyond what I ever expected. In reality they have given me the best wedding gown experience so far.
I will definetly post photos as soon as I receive it. But until then, I shall add this thread to my favorites that way I can keep checking out all of your gowns.
@pony the horse: I decided to go ahead with the replicated pattern. Its the replica dress, so might as well. I really wanna see how close can they get to replicate my dress.
They promised to send pictures next week. yeay!!!!!!
@suburban: oh yeay!!! cant wait to see ur dress tooo!! have they sent you pictures yet?
@ay_rad: No they haven't sent me any photos of my dress. I think I ordered it yesterday... maybe the day before. So I will probably start receiving photos in a month or so.
beautiful dress, suburban!! looking forward to see your dress too, ay_rad :) got some new of my dress just now... it looks HUGE in the bust area!! I'm petite, and think the drafts looks better... (picture of me in the original dress in post 17) and the back with the lace up looks really baggy and unfinished :/ but apart from that, I like it :) but I really do not have that large bust!! Can't figure out what happened, it looked so perfect from the draft pics...

They are so quick, they've replied me already. The reason the bust looks bigger, may be because the mannequin is smaller than me, and they say that they don't lace up properly during photoshoots, it takes too much time
Wow, these dresses really are beautiful replicas. I love how they are able to make the dress so similar to the original.
The progress pics are also very reassuring. Can't wait to see these dresses on their brides!
@pony the horse: Your dress looks so beautiful! I absolutely love the lace and the way it is scalloped at the bottom.
@pony the horse: now I can't wait for the pictures you wearing it!!! So happy for you!!! The dress is GORGEOUS!!!!!!!
thank you all :) i hope that the bust can be fixed or worn on another mannequin - it's definitely not my bust! :/
Hey all! Got my dress yesterday, and was able to try it on today. Picture is not the good but the quality of the dress is AMAZING. In this picture I dont have the petticoat on. I may need some alterations on the very top because I have lost weight since I ordered the dress. I would recommend Jasmine Bridal to anybody!
yay! lovely dress! Are you wearing high heels? :)
the detail bride (me) had to comment one more thing;

Also, I would like a veil... Would elbow length (74 cm) be ok? :)
As for the missing symmetry, Jasmine's said that it is impossible to change, because the dress is made of one big piece of lace :/ Let's hope that it just my eyes that can see the flaw...
