Well my dress is at the seamstress

she decided to keep it zipper style just got a 22 inch zipper

she sent me to get a yard of satin and asked me to pick up the lace appliqués and beads well I wasn’t having any good luck matching the appliqués so I emailed Jasmine and asked if they would be willing to send some pieces and beading

they obliged … Review  of my measurement  photo they said they couldn’t tell they asked for a different way to measure it .. I explained the dress was with the seamstress and I couldn’t remeasure well

fastfwd the pieces came they were nice with the appliqués and pearls but they sent Not a one crystal….. Deep sigh so I’m taking her what I have and hope she can incorporate some of extra pieces from my straps

if you have not guessed it my seamstress works out her home so I go get the material she does the work

so alterations rolling total so far is

10.00 for satin

6.00 for zipper

0.00 appliqué/beads jasmine

Will keep you guys posted

Somewhat disappointed they didn’t send the crystals that’s the one thing I can’t find local but were to close now to pout

@anna.mariebrickhousetobe: Doesn’t sound like you’re in too deep with the alterations and I’m sure your seamstress will work magic. I’m glad JBS sent the lace and pearls, bummer about the crystals (probably b/c it costs JBS more money). You weren’t able to find crystals at a local craft shop?

@ralessio: I offered to pay for them so I don’t know

but looking at my dress these marquise make the dress

I was doing some research online because I can’t recall exactly how she said she would alter the dress but I’m thinking if she

does those gussets in the hip under the beading i will be okay but if she has to go higher I needed those marquise to continue the design pattern

I’m emailing James to see what size they are to find a online retailer that offers overnight shipping

i go to the seamstress tomorrow

hes probably tired of me by now

Went to 7 stores not sold locally

@jyc_2014:  Sad about the crystals ): I’m sure James doesn’t mind that much though!

Can’t wait to see your dress totally finished (:
