I’m so confused. Should I trust Jasmine’s or CaraBridal with my Vera Wang replica (I’m looking at the Kendall, Karen, Laura or Hayley)? I’m after high quality fabrics so the fact that Jasmine’s has the designer grade fabric option is great. I would also obviously like the dress to be as close to the original as possible. I don’t mind paying a bit more if that means the dress will be better quality and closer to the original.
The dresses I like are all ball gown type dresses so I feel quite confident that the fit shouldn’t be too much of an issue (in comparison to say a mermaid style dress). It’s more the fabric quality and details (like the petals in Hayley) I am worried about.
What do you think bees? If money didn’t matter which one of the two would you go with (obviously money does matter to some degree, otherwise I’d go straight to Vera… but as long as we’re looking at less than $1200 I’m happy)?
Thank you lovelies!

cornwallbee2015: For a Vera replica I’d probably go with JBS but it’s purely based on the assumption of them having had more experience making that type of dress before.

My vote is for JBS. I had dreses made by both companies…and man. The JBS one blew the Cara one out of the water (fit, construction, detail, materials)
However, with JBS don’t expect the best communication at all times. Carabridal was much better at answering messages. I asked how my (3rd) dress was going at JBS days ago, and haven’t gotten a response yet.

Think out of the box and there are many wonderful stores over there, bestbridalpricces, wishbridal etc..

I also have had dresses by JBS and Cara. JBS quality wins hand down. It can be frustrating to deal with them at time, but honestly I think the end result is worth it. I would recommend JBS. But you really gotta have a lot of patience!

Thank you bees! I have found JBS a lot better at communicating with me (I’ve been dealing with Liza) than Olive from CaraBridal, maybe that’s because when I started talking to them I was expecting them to take weeks to get back to me, so my expectations were quite low.
With Olive I kind of struggle as I’m not sure if she understands me properly. I realise not everyone can speak perfect English but when it comes to spending lots of money on a custom-made wedding dress I want to make sure the person I’m dealing with really understands what I want.
I think it’s a clear win for JBS (if I go down the China route… I’m still debating taking the plunge, tripling my budget and buying a second hand Vera).
