donna_saur:  it’s very pretty! Fingers crossed it turns out all right. May I ask how much you paid and how long it’s supposed to take? Did you just send them a pic of what you wanted? (As you can tell, I am also urgently in need of a veil ;))

donna_saur:  The lace is gorgeous. Have you considered getting it altered to make it a true finger-tip? They can take it up from the top so that the lace isn’t disturbed. If you brought it in today, and explained the situation I’m sure you could get it in time for Saturday.

donna_saur:  Good I’m glad you have a plan to get the length fixed. Post pictures of it on with your dress! As for the lace starting at the shoulders, I have to admit that is what I prefer as well. It might be too large of an undertaking before Saturday, but maybe you can persue getting it removed at the top in time for your wedding day. You’re going to look stunning no matter what, though!
