Hello! I’m looking for any wedding photos featuring J.Crew bridesmaids dresses in the color “Dried Rose.” I wanted to see how they looked on multiple girls in a wedding, but I can’t seem to find any photos online.
Here are two dresses in the “dried rose” color:
The dried rose color is from a past season, does anyone know if you can still order colors that are not featured this season from J.Crew? I am able to go to the NYC boutique.
I’m hoping the color will transition well from daytime to evening (I’m having a summer outdoor ceremony). I originally thought I’d do Navy – always elegant and works for the outdoors – but my fiance wants to wear a traditional black tux and I don’t think there’s enough contrast between black and navy. Any other color suggestions?
Also, does anyone know what color is featured in this photo? They are also J.Crew dresses.
Red could also work, but we have so much green at our site, that I’m afraid it’ll become Christmas-y looking. What do you think? Here’s a picture of our ceremony site:
Any help would be much appreciated! 🙂

I’m almost 100% sure you can’t order dresses in colors they aren’t normally offered in. Part of it being J. Crew vs someplace like a bridal store is that they are a little less flexible with stuff like custom orders. Of course, the tradeoff is higher quality and more bang for your buck. They can, however, get you extra fabric (in a current fabric/color) if you end up having a bridesmaid that needs to let a dress out or have one altered for a baby bump, which is pretty awesome!

Yeah I think once a color is gone, it’s gone- I’m really in love with the eggplant color and what I want to use for my dresses, and when I called they said they can’t know for sure how long a color will last, but once it’s gone, it’s gone! Also, don’t know if you’re a teacher/student or anyone in your party is, but students and teachers get 15% discounts which will apply to bm dresses! The only coupon they’ll let you use basically is the holiday time one which I think is 20% off, so I’m going to have the girls figure out which style they want (I’m doing all same color, different style) and then order them around the holidays since I have plenty of time! Long answer that didn’t really address your question, but just thought I’d share the knowledge I’d gotten so far.
