I seem to remember the Fall 2009 dresses coming out in Septemberish- maybe August? I bet you could call JCrew and find out though.
I too was disappointed with Spring 2010 colors/styles. The colors just don't seem to scream "spring/summer!" as they probably should.
I'm honestly most disappointed with their lack of plus sizes. I have one BM who is an 18/20, and they don't go up that high, which I think is ridiculous.
@lilyfaith - I used to work for JCrew and hated having to tell women we didn't carry their sizes! I think it's ridiculous.
@peachesandtulips - ugh, that's the worst! I worked at a shoe store that carried almost no wides, and felt the exact same way. It's such a shame more places don't to cater to everyone.
Try Ann Taylor. They just came out with a line and I really like their stuff.
Yeah i'm not a fan of Ann taylor's colors either. They are very bland navy and blues and browns. I wanted pink or gray. But in the past Ann Taylor has had really cute dresses. thanks though!
OH nevermind. They just came out with new colors! sorry about that. They are pretty cute but very pastel and since i'm getting married in october i think my colors need to be deeper. But again thanks! 
I had the same problem, was so excited about J Crew dresses and just about cried when I saw the spring colors. Those colors were released some time in November, i think, so you can for sure wait to see the summer colors and possibly even the fall colors. You can definitely call them to find out when the colors are coming out and such. That's how I found out exactly when the spring colors were coming out.
If you were looking for dresses in that price range you might check out Lula Kate. They are a little more expensive although if you are ordering multiples they might come out pretty close to the same. They have tons of colors and are the same sort of styling as J crew. That's what I'm going with and I'm really excited about them.
The Summer 2010 colors are already out (look under color swatches on their Wedding page), and unfortunately no bright, deep pink or darker grays.
Take a look at Dessy/After Six/Alfred Sung/Lela Rose. They come in a wide variety of styles and colors (some fabrics are more limited).
I think you should call J Crew and ask when the new colors will come out; maybe when it's closer to release they might be able to send you pictures or swatches.
You know... I haven't looked at their bridesmaids dresses in a while but... now I really don't want to!
I really wish they came in more sizes too, because we really were considering those.
Not that I don't adore the one we picked, but it would have been nice not to have to rule out J.Crew simply based on sizes.
Jcrew launched their spring preview lookbook around Nov with dresses only available for pre-order. The acutal spring line was available to purchase in January. Their summer colors should come out around April and Fall colors in July (I work for an online retailer and we're always checking out Jcrew for ideas, plus I'm sure their wedding specialists are tired of hearing from me). It would be tight but if you waited until July and didn't see anything I think you'd have time to get your dresses for your October wedding.
PS I'm totally bummed with them. I'm looking for darker orange taffeta and can't find anything I like.

Is anyone else totally disappointed in thew spring 2010 Jcrew BM dress collection? My sister got married in May 2009 and used jcrew for her BM dresses. There were three diferent styles between the BMs and all were so cute! I wanted to do the silk tafeta but there are only 5 styles and i think only two of them are cute and the colors are just so horrible. They are all neutral. I wanted either a dark gray(they have a light silver) or a good deep pink, probably rasberry. I'm so frustrated with their seleciton in style and color. I am contemplating waiting until they get their fall 2010 dresses but i am worried it will be too late to order from an actual "BM dress collection" if i don't like jcrews. My wedding is in October 2010. Does anyone remember when Jcrew usually releases their fall BM dress collection?
