@layseejay: The strapless chiffon dress would do a small chest good because they are not made for busty girls. I bet your shape is perfect for it.
here's me in a Sophia chiffon. It's so long, but I am 5'6". I hear they are usually quite long. Make a lovely hair flower with the excess! The boobage area on this one was too big, but I think because it's an older Sophia version.

Man it is long hey! It looks like there are for sure like an extra 8 inches on you! Which is good news for me! Thanks!
And yeah, I was so excited to see something strapless that looked like my girls could hold it up! Haha. Thank you for your help :)
I just went to a barefoot beach wedding on Saturday that my husband was In and the bride wore the Jcrew Sophia chiffon that the PP just modeled! I wanna say she is around 5"7 and def had some room left over to wear heels after the ceremony. I would just buy one and try it out, or do you measurements from hem to hollow and then compare with the jcrew size charts!
I'm 5"9 ish and I found most dresses were spot on or even a litte long with room to work with. I also bought a sheath dress from the USA store called " The Limited" which is a womens clothing store that sells "tall/long" sizes, and their dress was by far the most awesome for height. their wedding dresses were on sale online but are sadly picked over and I don't know If they will discontinue their wedding dress line.
Best of luck!
@layseejay: I was not in Jcrew, but I am 6 feet too! My dress was Amsale (a sample) and it was supossed to be long enough, but sure enough- not quite. I pulled it off just barley with some flats. If I were you I would go for it- especially if you are slim, those dresses will look great. Or maybe can you special order it to be extra long? Is that anoption at Jcrew?
One girl on here turned her Arabelle into a mini train and then altered the front. That's how long it was! I bet you'll be OK. Just don't buy an "all sales final" gown that you cannot return.
Oh! Oh! I wore a J.Crew sheath and I am 5'9", 135 (maybe a little less when I got married). I wore about a two-inch heel with my dress and it was perfection. I'm also not very busty and didn't even need to wear a bra or undies. Just put a little tape on my nips. LOL.

I have been absolutely SWOONING over the J.Crew sheaths. Totally in love and the style is perfect for the backyard setting. I will be barefoot in grass so I'm thinking very ethereal. Only problem is I am...well some say I am scrawny, and 6 feet tall. Although I think my tiny chest is an asset to fit into J.Crew, I've read that they tend to run short. And since I live in Canada, ordering online is sort of my only real option. And I ALWAYS run into things not being long enough. Buying a maxi dress in the summer isn't even an option for me unless I go to the tall girl store (yeah, it's called that...). Any tall girls out there wear J.Crew (my faves are Goddess and Taryn) and get away with it?
Thanks ladies!
