just a fun...what are your thoughts?? anyone own a pair? pics??
They're not my favorite things in the world, but as long as someone has a shirt long enough to cover their privates, I have no objection :).
I was tempted to purchase them but did not. I am curious to see photos and if they are comfy or not.
I also agree with @jo.lee - the shirt has to be a tunic of some sort.
My SIL purchased them for my three year old niece .. on her they look cute.
They are really comfortable and I like them. I was against them for a long time but then I bought a pair of adorable calf boots that I wanted to be able to show off all winter (not just in skirts). Now I like them. I usually wear them with a tunic length top because my thighs do not look fabulous in them but who am I really trying to impress at this point?
I LOVE mine. I wear them constantly with boots and long shirts or a long sweater. I wish I had a picture at work. They are the most comfortable thing I own, the top of them is an elastic band (like maternity pants).
Highly recommended!
@jo.lee: and @stephinPA: don't you just love the girls that wear tight leggings and a short shirt with them! it's like...REALLY? on a side note, i told my fiance that i hate that, and he's like "i don't see a problem with it." yeah...i'll bet you don't! HAHA!
I am wearing some now! :) I always wear them with a really long shirt, like those plaid long shirts. Pretty much this look on this chic:
@AnnieAAA: i have that shirt!
Also a fan of jeggings here!
I wear them too. DH bought them for me and they are super comfy and cute
i hateeee when people wear leggings like they're pants - like, with a t-shirt
but i do love them with a long shirt or sweater :)
I've tried to find a pair I like but they all end up looking weird on me. i would totally rock them if I could find a pair I liked!
Did you see Conan O'Brien in Jeggings?

I almost died laughing!
I keep thinking, "I really want a pair" but right now ... it's too cold out! They just don't look warm. :)
I think they're cute, but my biggest worry would be the jiggle factor - I've seen too many people whose thighs aren't muscled enough for them jiggling as they walk, and fear my thunder thighs would do the same :(
if women keep wearing tighter jeans some of you are not going to be able to have babies. lol I don't understand the concept of these jeggings. whats the difference between those and skinny jeans?
I LOVE them! :) I wear them all the time I have like 4 pairs...I always wear them with long shirts, sweaters and boots...or dress them up with heels...they are very comortable!! I wasnt a fan until I tried them on! They are so cute! :)
@Mr. Tattoo: I believe that is men, not women. There are studies that say tight jeans lower sperm count in men. Women should not wear tight jeans when they are already pregnant, but who on earth would want to?
I loooove them, but my grandma thought they were maternity pants. I will wear them anyways :) lol
I love my jeggings! I always wear them with a longer shirt/sweater, so my butt doesn't hang out. They are just so very comfortable and stretchy!
@Mr. Tattoo: thinner material - they look like denim but they're not as thick/hard as denim, so they're comfier (comfy-er? how the heck do you spell that!?)
I have 15 pairs that I rock religiously and have done for the past 2 years lol. In fact, I'm wearing apair right now! I love skinny jeans too, but jeggings are a much better option in the summer (not as hot) and they are also just a lot more comfortable. I really don't think leggings of any kind should be worn with short tops. I do not need to see anyone's camel toe.
I love them. I have a lot of dresses that have shrunk, and since I'm not into short skirts it's nice to still be able to wear them b/c I have pants on under them.
I'm pretty obsessed with mine. They're SUPER comfortable, plenty warm, and basically just look like skinny jeans. They're just softer! I always pair them with a long shirt/sweate. Sometimes I wear ankle boots and sometimes I wear my chucks. Yesterday I was told I looked like I could be on Glee. I took it as a compliment.
I was against the idea when they first came out, but now they've grown on me. I still don't own a pair, but I think like leggings, they should be worn appropriately (i.e. with a longer top)!
@plantains: I really don't think leggings of any kind should be worn with short tops. I do not need to see anyone's camel toe.
This! No one wants to see that, but if you dress appropriately, jeggings are awesome.
I'm definitely not going to wear them, but I don't have a problem with others wearing them as long as they're covered up where they should be. :)
I wouldn't, but some people can pull them off. Unfortunately i see more people wearing jeggings/leggings who shouldn't than people who can.
Gotta follow the crotch rule with leggings.
I like them.. but dont own any. I have my jeans and I have my leggins. Just not combined.
Nope, I don't wear them. My behind is just too big. I think you have a particular body type to successfully pull them off. But from what I have seen people wearing in public, some people don't think the the same.
I had no idea what jeggings were until this thread! Thank you WB, for helping me learn something new everyday.
@eeniebeans: I cannot stop laughing at this....
