I love the look and quality of Jennifer Behr headbands (and love that she offers non-rigid headbands because ‘Alice ‘ bands give me honking migraines)…but I can’t help but feel they’re a tee bit overpriced.
For example I love this JB for JCrew band but ZOINKS $450. I just can’t justify the price.
Does anyone know of designers or companies that make headbands with a similar feel but at a somewhat lower price point?

So pretty 🙂 I am actually looking for a pretty headband that doesn’t crush the skull!

Have you thought about a head band that ties underneath your hair at the nape of your neck? I’ve seen them at bridal salons, my best friend just got one at David’s bridal. I know forever 21 carries them sporadically! I’m sure they are on etsy somewhere

Thanks for the suggestions, all. Today I visited both Bergdorf’s and Bendel’s hair accessories departments (heads up to NYC bees: Henri Bendel has a pretty awesome selection of wedding-worthy hair accessories on the second floor next to their famous Lalique crystal windows).
I tried on at least a dozen different glittery headbands at different pricepoints but in the end, a JB rhinestobe headwrap won out! Not exactly cheap, but it was a couple hundred dollars less than the JCrew piece I had been ogling.
I love that JB’s hairbands are constructed like high quality costume jewelry, with prong-set ‘stones’, not glued.
