@JrzyGurl:Hello! I am happy to give you some additional venue recommendations, you can email me at at belmomentoevents@hotmail.com
There are some unique locations between Cape May and AC that I would be happy to recommend.
We are getting married at Breakers on the Ocean in Spring Lake. It is an vctorian style inn/ hotel. They have a beautiful porch over looking the beach.
I'm having mine at the Sunset Ballroom in Pt. Pleasant Beach - it's on the inlet though, and not the actual ocean. I love it and it's totally within your price range. They offer two differently priced packages, the less expensive is $120pp and the more expensive is $140 for Sept.
I looked at lots of Jersey Shore venues before ultimately choosing this one, so if you have any questions about McLoone's Pierhouse, The Molly Pitcher Inn, Oyster Point, Breakers on the Ocean, The Mill, or Merri-makers at Water's Edge, my email is vogellauras@gmail.com. Good luck!
I highly recommend Ocean Place in Long Branch, NJ. I've been to two weddings there and the place is beautiful. I also have been to weddings at the Mill and it is very nice
I just got married this September at Avenue in Long Branch. It was perfect! It's on the beach in Pier Village. We had our ceremony on the roofdeck and went right into the reception. The cost was $130, but I added Raw Bar so it was $150. The food was delicious! I recommend them to everyone! We looked at McLoones and Ocean Place and decided on Avenue because it was just so different than your average banquet room! We also got a free room at the Bungalow Hotel, so we had our after party there. Everyone is still telling me how amazing our wedding was! Good Luck!

@Kimmie917: That sounds amazing!! I've seen pics from Avenue weddings and they look gorgeous! How many people did you have?
Our reception is at Lakewood Country Club, Lakewood, NJ We got a great deal. tax and gratuity are included. food tasting was great. nice place. http://www.thelakewoodcountryclub.com/
We're getting married at the Mill in Spring Lakes... Very nice location and a reasonable price for August.
Try Clark's Landing. It's beautiful. It's in Point Pleasant, my fiance and I were thisclose to booking there (we didn't because we were looking for June and thought the hotel situation then would be tough for our guests). It's only in your price range though if you do a holiday weekend or Sunday..not sure how you feel about those!
Mallard Island Yacht Club.....StateRoom.....Bonnett Island Yacht Club....Brant Beach Yacht Club....all on or near LBI......gorgeous.
We are getting married at Congress Hall in Cape May. They are incredibly helpful, the food is wonderful, and the venue is gorgeous - Can't wait! I think we are paying $149pp. Hope this helps!

Hi girls,
So I'm just starting the wedding planning process! My FI and I want to get married in New Jersey on/near the beach. But we don't really know where to start. We both live in NYC (families are in NJ) and our friends haven't started getting hitched yet, so we're a little lost. I'll tell you a little bit about what we were thinking:
* Guest list between 150 - 200
* On or near the water
* Probably a Sept wedding (so there won't be crowds at the beach)
* Something nice, not wedding factory feeling. I love the Tim McCloone's places as well as Congress Hall in NJ, but we're looking for some other options.
Do you guys have any other suggestions of venues? And estimated prices? We'd like to keep it under $150/pp.
