I haven't seen that but Jersey Shore is one of my guilty pleasures. I find people that exhibit extreme stereotypes interesting and comical. One of my fave Jersey Shore quotes...."Guido isn't an insult its a lifestyle!"
OMG that show is so fabulously fake and I love every minute of it!! (I mean come on, the other make-up artist who was trying out that night was wayy better than the girl that got "hired"). I missed last weeks episode but I'm sure they will replay it this Sunday before the new episode :)
Ugh these shows annoy me so much since I grew up in NJ. I was from South Jersey so I never talked like that, never knew anyone who looked like that, but I have always had people wondering why I don't say "Joisey".
It definitely is a guilty pleasure. My bf said he hates those types of shows, but I know he secretly watches! lol I looked up one of the photographers they used for the TTD and wow let me tell you great work, but anywhoo stereotypes are funny there is always a bit of truth in them and they should be laughed at. My bf is Italian definitely not guido so he just shakes his head at the things I tell him that go on. I'm amazed by how shows like this and cake boss have little shops you would think these reality show locales would be a bit bigger.
MissAsB: lol I never knew there was such thing as a Jersey accent. I do not say cawfee..its coffee simple lol
I fell in love with the dress from the "trash the dress" shoot on Jerseylicious. Does anyone know the designer of the dress?? I'm dying to know!
everyone one on the show doesnt really work there they are all hired actors!
Actually, they aren't actors, my best friend is one of the producers and those are real people. Some of the situations they are put in are done so with some preplanning but their reactions are all real. I wouldn't have believed it either if I didn't know someone who works on the show. And they just got picked up for a second season... it's my guilty pleasure!
I caught a couple of episodes of this the other day at the gym. I was cracking up when they took the two girls to NYC for a "make-under". I couldn't believe they couldn't see how over the top they were!! And the girl and her nails, Dude?!

Has anyone seen the new disgrace on tv depicting Jersey? Well, If you haven't its on the Style network, following Jersey salon girls ...of course you have the stereotypical Italian big hair, boobs, fake tans, but I love it!!! I caught a couple of episodes today as I was lounging and drove my bf nuts telling him about the show. What I loved is that they showed a Trash the Dress session that was awesome!
