I’m hoping someone could help me. My fiancé and I already bought a lot for our wedding next September, now I’m regretting it. Our idea was to have a fall wedding with purple being the main color with orange accents. We have come to realize its not us-at all. We have come across a bouquet and invitation package with the colors of sangria, plum and navy blue. Gorgeous! We were already planning on using plum and sangria al yay. I guess my question is this: we already ordered an aisle runner with gold embroidered leaves on it, favor boxes in shape of leaves that are metallic and place card holders that are orange leaves….is a purple and blue wedding with random fall accents dumb or can it work?

@nikkit722: I think it will be beautiful. Blue and orange are complimentary colors, so they orange will give liitle pops of color.. Gold is a neutral and can be used anywhere.

Thanks I’m just nervous the leaves will look dumb lol. Right now we have the following: bridesmaids dresses in bill levkoff sangria, linens in eggplant, gold garland in cylinders for centerpieces and leaf accent place card holders, aisle runner and favor boxes. I found a bouquet I love of sangria and plum flowers accented with blue freesia and then I found those 3 colors in an invitation. The only thing that doesn’t fit are the leaves but they were already bought.
