I would give him the benefit of the doubt. He probably did email you and either mis-typed your address or it ended up in your spam filter.
Thanks for responding snmcdowell!
He did call yesterday and I went to go get my ring. It was not what I ordered. At first I was really thrown off and angry. He had made a full eternity band and not a 3/4 like I wanted. I decided to go ahead and take it, try for a week and see how I feel about it.
he said I can bring it back at any time to make it a 3/4 if I want. He also did not charge me any extra for the 1/4 diamonds. To top it off he's going to do an appraisal on it for me for higher than what we paid for insurance purposes. He bought my mom's two rings off me and used that credit towards my new ring.
Hope I can get used to it and like it and that I don't lose too much weight to have to have it cut and sized!

After months and months of searching I could not find a band to go with my e-ring. After talking with a few jewelers and asking for recommendations I finally went with one a friend has used in the past. He had to make a 3/4 platinum eternity band with diamonds matching the color of my e-ring stone. He said 3 to 4 weeks. He did not take a deposit and said he could tell I'd be back for it.
At two weeks I emailed and asked the status and he said a week to a week and a half. My friend stopped by the store to pick up her own ring and he told her the same thing about mine.
It's now at 6 weeks so I emailed him last night and asked the status. He told me it was ready two weeks ago and that he had emailed me to tell me which I never got. He's out of town right now though. He said he'd be back today and would call me today. It's now 7:30 PM and still no call.
I'm not sure if I should go and get this ring, how reliable is this guy going to be if something doesn't fit or a stone falls out in the future?? Should I go ahead and get it or just find yet another jeweler to have my band made? I wear a very large ring size so it's not something the first guy can sell easily so I kinda feel bad.
