We had my ring custom made at Zacharys in Severna Park, MD (also have a location in Annapolis). They do all of their work onsite, and you can even watch the jeweler at work for peace of mind. Our consultant, Erica, was amazing, and went out of her way to make us feel special. We'll definitely return for more pieces in the future.
I recommend Samuelson's in Baltimore - ask for Ron (the owner) he's really great.
My FI went to Boone and Sons in Farragut West and he has nothing but fabulous things to say about them! He looked at all the other local jewelers all the way out to Tysons and decided that Boone's is the best because they really work with you and get you what you want.
Quest Jewelers in Falls Church down the street from the Merrifield Post Office. Family owned/run business and they do AWESOME custom work. We'll be going there in a few months to pick out wedding rings.

My boyfriend and I have been looking for engagement rings but I haven't come across what I'm looking for ... Can anyone suggest good needless in the area where they can do custom designs.. I want a double halo... Thanks
