Mine is from the golden nugget on jeweler row. No clue what it cost, but I know that the selection at any store on jewlers row is way better than a mall store. I have an oval and no mall stoe even had one for me to look at but every store I went to on JR had at least one if not many more in all different sizes. I highly recommend you go to Philly. I’m pretty sure their prices and quality are far better than the mall

@tarapaul2016:  We purchased mine from Safian and Rudolph (on the corner of 7th and Sansom), but also browsed at Steven Singer. Both stores had great customer service and were willing to work within the price point we gave them (and told us they had rings available in a very wide range of prices, too). The selections were VAST- I was so overwhelmed when we were shopping! They had diamonds in every shape and thousands upon thousands of settings. I never looked anywhere in the mall, so I can’t compare, but I am definitely confident that my ring is really high quality for the price.

@tarapaul2016:  I didn’t get my ering from there, but my wedding ring and other pieces are from Harry Merrill on 8th street, across from Samson.  They’re very friendly, straightforward and will work with you.  Barksy has a huge selection but really give the runaround on prices, which doesn’t work for me.

@tarapaul2016:  go to zales, they have the best customer service. kay wasn’t really helpful. my budget was $2000 for my ring. I am pretty happy with the outcome . They also have the warranty which is great if you lose a diamond or need it cleaned. we plan on upgrading my ring, they have that program also. You will be happy you went there. Every time we went to kay, they were rude and they showed me things out if budget. They don’t have prices showing either. Litmans was oksy, just not much of A selection.

My wedding band was ordered through Steven Singer, and they also made DH’s custom wedding band.  We only went in the store once, and then did all the rest by phone and email.  Great service, great prices…we were so pleased with them, that when my mom’s e-ring got messed up at a local jeweler, I had her call the jeweler who helped us (stephanie) and she had it sorted out in a week.  If we had another big jewelry purchase or repair, we’d probably send it there as well.

@tarapaul2016:

I was pretty skeptical, because ALL of the Jewelers Row jeweler’s websites are pretty bad in terms of selection! I was so pleasantly surprised in person that they had TONS of settings in the back room. My impression was that Steven Singer seemed to have a more “modern” and “trendy” selection, while Safian and Rudolph was more “classic”. Happy shopping!
