Beautiful dress - I tried it on and loved it but went with something else.
I'm thinking no necklace, pearl drop earrings and a hair clip like......
I love the hairstyle in your third photo...I would probably wear a necklace if I were you but maybe just one pendant or pearl.
Very pretty though!
This is Mrs. Champagne's dress! She wore her hair down (and it looked fabulous!), but I think some hair down makes this gown even more oh-so romantic.
Oh my lanta that is such a gorgeous dress! do you mind me asking how much it was? I love it and don't have my dress yet!
I love the second hairstyle, the blonde one. I think it's gorgeous and would be so flattering.
I also think because of the intricacy of the dress, a simpler necklace would be more ideal.
pearls are a gorgeous combination with lace dresses.
The dress was $800 with tax. I know I could probably gotten it cheaper somewhere else but I really didn't want to waste anytime. I love it :) It was flattering on me when I was 15 lbs heavier than I am now which was important to me. I wanted to like it whether I lost weight or not.
Thanks for the suggestions. I think I just need to do a hair trial or two and then try the dress on to see what I like the most.
I'm wearing the same dress for my April wedding and have debated the same thing! I've always wanted my hair down in long, romantic curls, which I decided to do. I'm not much of a necklace person and felt that a necklace with this dress and my hair down would be too much, so I'm just going with dangly earrings. Check out Mrs. Champagne for inspiration - she looked amazing!
@sept2610 - I paid $650 for my dress

IMHO you need a necklace because the dress is strapless. What hairdo to choose depends on how long your neck is.
I would skip a necklace do dramatic earrings and a nice hair clip like the pics shown...
i like the puffy half up look in the second set of photos you have uploaded.... i like the necklaces that incorporate a few diamonds in them to give it bling! that dress is beautiful!

I'm wearing Casablanca 1827 in Ivory for my wedding in May. I'm having a hard time figuring out if I should wear my hair up or half up. I'm leaning towards an updo because the dress is so beautiful at the neckline I would hate to cover it up with my hair. I have posted some ideas for my hair. What do you like?
My other dilema is necklace or no necklace. The gown at the neckline has some pearls so I was thinking about wearing my moms pearl necklace and some small pearl earrings but wasn't sure. I would only wear the necklace if my hair was up because it is too busy looking with my hair down.
Any input would be helpful!!! Thanks and happy planning :)
