My dress is going to have a black sash and the dress itself is white. I’m considering wearing black shoes and even maybe a dyed black petticoat if the black color doesn’t dull the white dress.
So now, this leads me to jewelry.
I’m torn between wearing a dainty necklace or a chunky statement necklace or no necklace at all. I am really at a loss. I think I’ll avoid pearls as I don’t want there to be a color discrepancy with the dress but am thinking if I do a necklace, perhaps it would have black crystals or black beads or something in it.
If anyone wore similar or has ideas for me based on my dress, I’d love for you to share them. Thanks in advance!!!

i love black rhinestone necklaces. just keep it small and dainty because your dress has so much detail on it. i have a black rhinestone 15″ necklace that would be perfect, except it’s vintage so i have no idea where to get something like it. macys sometimes has a lot of black jewelry, so start there. i would do black studs for earrings too.

I love how black shoes with wedding dresses looks! What other colors are in your wedding? I think a statement necklace in a pop of color would look great but so would a black necklace! I personally love bold accessories though (although I’m not having as many as I’d like even though I looked everywhere for something that matched).

@mandb122: Our colors are black and white (black and white damask) with apple green accents. I think with my attire and my groom’s suit/tie, we’ll likely stick with black & white for clothing/accessories.

I vote for a chunky statement necklace!
