I am having a Saturday NIGHT wedding!  FI and I really HATE going to Sunday evening weddings and we did not want one during the day. Since we are traditional conservative, this limited us to the time of year we could have our wedding- but we were fine with that.

Ceremony is at 7:30pm on 12/15/12 at our syagouge.

We had a non-holiday Sunday at 11:30 and I would not change a thing! People drank and danced their faces off like it was a Saturday night, and we were home early to relax with friends after, and people could get home for work on Monday no problem (unless they chose to make a long weekend).

we had a Saturday wedding in August, starting at 7:30pm, which is when our reform rabbi said it was okay with him

My sister had a Jewish ceremony at 5 pm on Saturday – the Rabbi made an exception for her since it wasn’t in the synagogue.

Ours will be 5:00 pm on a Sunday…but the next day is Labor Day so no one has to work and can stay late.

Ours was on a Sunday with tisch/bedeken/cocktail hour at 2 p.m., chuppah at 3, and everything over by 8. It worked out really well, especially since we had a lot of out-of-town guests who wanted to make the trip in a day.

We had an interfaith ceremony — husband’s not Jewish — performed by a very liberal rabbi.  She was willing to perform a 4:30pm ceremony on a Saturday afternoon in early September.

Ours was on a Saturday in December when Shabbat ended early–I think we started around 7:00!
