Mrs. hotcocoa converted to Judaism. I would look up her old posts on the (long) process!

Find a rabbi and synagogue / congregation you are really comfortable with. Our congregation has lots of interfaith couples so is more comfortable with this than some others. The rabbi will help you with all your questions. The congregation will have Intro Judaism classes – again, if you really like the congregation it won’t feel like an obligation, but a personal journey. Try a reconstructionist or renewal congregation.

You’re probably gonna have to go with a less conservative synagogue. In the jewish tradition the children follow the mother’s rligion so your children would be considered Jewish either way. That is love!
