We used the instrumental for Annie’s Song for the bridal party.  For me, I wanted Canon in D.  Then our recessional was the instrumental for How Sweet it is.  I don’t know if you’re looking for Jewish songs or not, but these worked for us.

Perhaps Dodi Li?  Mr. HC ended up writing the music for the bridal party processional, my entrance, and our circling, but we’ve gone to two weddings where Dodi Li was sung for the processional.

We are going with classical not Jewish- Canon in D. Many Jewish brides I know have used it for the processional. I also like Vivaldi’s Spring from the four seasons.

L’cha dodi is beautiful, and I think Pharoahi’s Daughters has a great upbeat version . . . .

Erev Shel Shoshanim?  I’ve played that for brides at a few weddings . . .although certain versions can sound kind of sad, I know what you mean . . . but it can also sound beautiful and kind of exotic/romantic.

How about something from Fiddler on the Roof? “Sunrise, Sunset” could be a beautiful song and its used in the show during a wedding! Its not a religious Jewish song, but it works culturally.

Any thoughts on using Mimaamakim by Idan Rachel (slower) to walk down the aisle to?
