Sound familiar to anyone?
Sound familiar to anyone?
LOL so awesome. And true, but they are still fun! Sometimes!
I got a good chuckle out of that, but that type of party sounds like a nightmare anyways. I would much rather go for Thai then go bowling (sans penis necklaces) than go to bars all night…
HAHAHAHAHA. I want a penis necklace!
“Yes, we’ll also be waving around penis-shaped straws and other phallic gag gifts as a way to gently introduce the blushing bride to something that she will encounter for the first time on her wedding night.”
i’m not planning on doing a bachelorette party… i think my friends and i will go to a show (one of my favorite musicals is coming to town the month before the wedding!) and then out for drinks at a martini bar or something. i want my mom to go, so i don’t want any penis shaped objects.
That would be why I gracefully decline most bachelorette parties and send a nice Victoria’s Secret gift card in my absence.
I really dislike these parties and would prefer to spend my time doing something else.
I’ve actually had a great time at every bachelorette party I’ve been too…guess the writer needs new friends! Of course I was single for all of them but the last one so I got to go out and drink and flirt with all the men that would talk to us. Last one I went to I actually was with FI but it was at some of my all-time favorite college bars so we had a blast still.
I read through a lot of the comments. My friends are taking me to Vegas (I do love Vegas! But I love it more in March…) but I wish I would have thought of some of the other ideas some people did! I would totally go camping in CO or go to a Renaissance Festival! The Renaissance Festival is a great idea (love them!)…and ours starts about 3 weeks before my wedding! Hmmm
2 of my friends have never been to Vegas though and everyone going but me is basically single….so I can’t blame them for wanting to go! I just don’t want to wear all that crap…I could handle one item but that’s about it.
Yep. Pretty much. I also really don’t like female strip clubs, but I will go to them and awkwardly keep a smile plastered on my face for someone if that’s what they want for their bachelorette. However, my inner feminist is having absolute conniptions inside.
The way people are “supposed” to act/dress during their bachelorette party, I have never acted/dressed in my life. Why on earth would I do so then? So that’s not happening. If I do something in lieu of this, it’ll be something my friends and I generally enjoy.
