Oh yeah, I feel you. When I first started that DVD, I was seriously cursing at the screen by the end of it for all the pain she was putting me through! Haha. Just get past the first week and it’ll definitely get better. 🙂 I was able to get through an Insanity dvd after working out with Jillian for 3 weeks!

I started it yesterday also! I did it early in the day and it was definitely kicking my ass! I then did it again at night and was a little better. I am definitely sore today!!

I did it last week and i was sore for 4 days. Its amazing.. NEVER underestimate the power of a DVD lol

I finished by 7th day yesterday, I just keep thinking ONLY THREE MORE DAYS…..until I have to go up to the next level which I’m afraid to watch I can only imagine how painful it will be haha. I’m able to get through them though and keep doing them every day because they’re so short that the whole time I could say “almost over”. I definitely prefer a shorter more intense workout to a longer one where I have the time to phone it in and make excuses why I don’t have time to do it that day.

Lol, I was supposed to start Ripped in 30 today…guess what?  I’m in my gym clothes, on the couch, surfing the Internet, lol.  Ugh…

I’m about halfway through level 2! I only do 5x a week (Sunday-Thursday), but she is kicking my ass. I actually like level 2–it’s not nearly as plank intensive/hard as people were telling me, and she’s a lot funnier. Not sure what to do after level 3, though.

@BookishBelle:  I definitely prefer a shorter, more intense workout to a longer one.

FI did Level 1 with me the other day and actually approved (he’s constantly making fun of me saying my workouts don’t look hard enough…until he does them, lol)

 

When I finish my 30 days, I figure I still have 2 more months until the wedding so if it does nothing that’s still enough time to do something more intense (I’d do Insanity if I didn’t have bad knees, they can’t take that much jumping!) to be white-dress-ready!
