    So I now have the Jillian Michaels dvd 30 Day Shred and I want TRUTHFUL reviews. Have you lost weight and become tone from it? Have you noticed a difference at all?

    I toned up and lost a little bit, but honestly couldn't stick with it.

    @Candace From BC:  Great topic!  Sorry I can't help, but I've been wondering this too.  I bought it a while back, but only did it once.  It was hard!  I've been thinking about doing it again.  I definitely hope others post their results.

    Ok so I didn't do the 30 day shred. They were all sold out. But I did do the "Last Chance Workout". I heard, and kind of know for a fact, that the 30 day shred, is alot more intense.

    As for my experience. The DVD I did, toned me up all over. It really made my body tighter. I don't do it anymore, and jog 4 miles a day 5 days a week, and honestly, physically my body was leaner doing the dvd 5 days a week, vs jogging.

    @Candace From BC: It depends. do you plan on follwoing her meal plan and doing the workout EVERYDAY?! if so then yes it probably will work. I incorportate it into my routine on days that I cannot make it to the gym. Level 3 kicks major ass!!!! I would not recommend only doing this dvd. I talked to my personal trainer about this DVD, she said to do it on days you need a quick workout at home but not to ONLY do this workout. Good luck! ;)

    I didn't really like the 30 Day Shred.  First of all, I had doing the same workout every day (and it's not great to not rest your muscles).  Plus it didn't seem to get easier with time which was weird.  I liked No More Trouble Zones better.

    I did the video for a week straight and lost 5 pounds but couldn't bring myself to do it week 2. I was bored with it. I went out and bought the Last Chance Work Out DVD as well and rotated them. I did LCWO on MWF and 30 Day Shred on T-Th and found this worked better for me. I needed a variety. The work outs are killer and will definietly help tone you!

    I've done all of Jillian's DVDs. I love NMTZ, hate BFBM (though it's a great workout, it just kills me!), was very happy with Ripped in 30, and I keep Shred as my "old standby" when I need a quick workout.

    The first time I did Shred, I lost around 8lbs. The second time I did it, I lost only 3lbs, but lost a lot in the way of inches.

    I like doing the "30 Day Slimdown" which rotates Shred, NMTZ and BFBM for 30 days (off days too).

    Oh and I lost 5.2lbs and LOTS of inches doing Ripped in 30 in August.

    I am currently trying to get inspired by a friend of mine who swears by the Jillian Michaels' 30 Minute Shred. She made an AMAZING transformation (seriously- toned and more energetic than ever) and claims she owes it all to that DVD.  She is a married workaholic with 2 little ones, so if she can do it, there is no reason I can't, too!

    Yes it works!  If you stick with it you'll definitely lose inches even if not weight (assuming you have inches to lose).  My legs and arms toned up quite a lot in the first week or so.  My stomach followed right along with them.   It worked so well I became a big fan and got No More Trouble Zones (which really works some wonders), Burn Fat Boost Metabolism (which made me wanna puke at first but gets easy if you stick with it and do it on a regular basis), and Ripped in 30 (super hard, but I don't do it very often).  I rotate through them and workout for about an hour a day (either NMTZ, BFBM, or two Shred Levels).  This is nuts for me because I hated working out, but I love my abs and legs now and will do what it takes to keep them. 

    Invest in some weights and stick with it.  It's worth it.
