Don't worry, it gets better!
There are quite a few threads about results already about results, so definitely check those out. :)
I'm starting Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism tomorrow after working my way through the Shred... I'm excited, but a little scared because I took a couple week break so now I'm lazy again. :P
Ohhh I did level 1 this morning too! The first time I did the video I Was unable to try it again for a few days but after that I was able to do it everyday. I will hopefully have some good results to share in 30 or so days!
I did it last week Monday and Wednesday. I had to skip Tuesday because I was sore and worried I might hurt something if I "worked through it". Unfortunately I've been swamped since then and haven't done it again though, so annoying. Anywho, I found the second time I did it, it wasn't as bad. Maybe because I knew what to expect? Good luck!
I LOVE her banish fat, boost metabolism DVD. It's mostly cardio, which is what I need to keep off the pounds, and it really works you. She does a lot of simple movements like jumping jacks and butt kicks, but yeah, she doesn't stop. My husband is in pretty decent shape, and he had a hard time finishing the workout the first time.
It's the same as the 30-day shred at Target: $10!
I love the 30DS! I'm doing Level 2 at present and a few weeks ago I was feeling fiesty and did levels 1 and 2 back to back and thought I was going to die!
I've been hearing a lot about this video! I htink I'm going to buy it so when I'm too lazy to make the trip to the gym! Can't wait to feel the burn!
I really enjoyed it! But I am definitely going to not go overboard with it, since I have heard of people injuring themselves. Hopefully after a month I'll have some good results as well!
I also enjoy the Biggest Loser Last Chance Workout DVD. She leads that workout as well. It's hard core and I enjoy it. It definitely brings that "good" pain at the end of the workout.
Ha! I just got done doing level 1 of the 30 day shred, and I have to admit, I got to 20 minutes and felt like I shouldn't be done with my workout for the day! But I'm a major gym goer, usually doing cardio for an hour. I'm going to go for a walk tonight to make myself feel like I did more.
I needed something to add toning and resistaince training to my routine, and I think I can stick with this! I'll probably do it every other day though.
i just started this earlier this week, and I LOVE IT!!
i did level 1 on sunday and monday... and took a break yesterday
today it's level 2, tomorrow level 2, and another break friday... then 2 days of level 3!
it was definitely harder on day two of level 1, but once it was over, i felt even better! and i think yetserday i was a lot less sore from doing it two days in a row!! :)
can't wait to get home to shred it again!
Ok Yeah I can barely get through level 1 and I would have previously considered myself to be "in shape"... I'm 107 lbs and have good definied muscles but MAN!!! I need to do the video again today.... I was sooo sore for 2 days after doing that dang video last time! LOL I could barely lift my arms in the shower to shampoo my hair... HAHA
I also tried her Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism and No More Trouble Zones DVDS, and they're awesome. After a few weeks of doing the Shred, I found it was getting too easy, even on level 3, and I'm not in that good of shape. My weight plateued, so I knew I had to change it up. I did, and I'm already down 2 lbs this week.
I just did level 1 for the first time today and I feel SO good! That may change tomorrow, lol. I plan to only do it 3-4x each week. It was tiring but I felt really good about it. The last workout I tried was P90X and the Shred was so much better for me.
i love jillian... i've been switching back and forth from 30 day shred and trouble zones and i have burn fat, boost metab waiting to be opened too...
i feel great, tighter, but the only downside is that i've gained weight from packing on the muscle... :(
but i guess scale weight really doesn't matter when everything i've got is TIGHT and MUSCLE! :D

I did the level 1 workout of the 30 day shred, and man! It was pretty dang tough. I was exhausted and drenched in sweat at the end. I was so tired that that when I was chopping up the squash for dinner, I accidentally stabbed myself in the finger. When I woke up this morning, I wasn't ridiculously sore, but I could definitely feel the effects of it. I think I'm going to do it every other day, and do a Walk away the pounds video in between so I don't kill myself everyday. :)
Anyone have really good results with Jillian Micheals workouts? Share!
