Uhhh yeah it's pretty intense! You'll be sore for about two or three days, but then you just start to feel great! It's totally worth it!
Haha! Keep going...It's so worth it! I'm on level three, and it's starting to not kick my butt quite as hard as it was a few days ago. I'm still far from bikini-ready, but I think I'll get there. :)
I ordered the 30 day shred a few weeks ago and am anticipating the pain to come! Can't wait for the end results though!!
AGREED, this is my third week of 30 day shred... and now i'm incorportaing jillian's trouble zones dvd a couple of times a week.
yesterday was my break day, but the two days before that (level 2 and trouble zones) .. were the toughest days YET. i def feel my body getting stronger... but i think the last few days i'm in a tired slump.
i'm gona either trouble zone or level 2 again tonight and hopefully get motivated to upkeep my (yet) non-cheated workout schedule! (5 days a week, 2 on, 1 off, 2 on)
I did this, and I could barely move the next day! Granted I did it the first time after not working out for years and did the regular workout (not modified) and used 5 pound weights.....lol. I moved down to 3 pounders and modified after that!
I just started a couple of days ago and it kicked my butt like no other! lol! It was so intense that I needed a break the next day (I know I shouldn't have but I couldn't lift anyting). But I'm also combining it with the biggest loser boot camp (along with the cardio max and power sculpt, just to keep it interesting. I find myself getting bored watching the same routine over and over). I did the boot camp one yesterday and that was bad but not as bad as the 30 day lol!
Today is the 30 day shred level 1 day 2...wish me luck!! I will def need it!!
OH! I just bought the video today, any advice?! I didn't start today, starting tomorrow. Terrified. HA! I'm going to be on the beach in Florida the 2nd weekend in May so I need to be beach ready by then!!! YIKES!
The jellybeans I had after dinner probably didn't help my cause...
Is there anyone who is just starting who would like to be a "Jillian" buddy with me?!
I am still on level 1, as she says, it really does get better by day 6 or 7. I still don't feel like I am ready for level 2 yet!
I LOVE Jillian Michaels but she also beats me up, sometimes I pretend im punching her! lol
Oh. My. Gosh. Tonight was my first night...I seriously don't know if I'll be able to type at work tomorrow. Yikes. If this doesn't whip me into shape, NOTHING will.
I got mine today, but will start tomorrow. Too many people around today, and I don't want anyone to see me make a fool of myself. I just hope I can follow through with it.
@noritake22: Good luck! My arms feel like jello. I had to stop a few times and it also didn't help that my dogs don't understand what in the world I'm doing. My little dog was barking at me the whole time, my lab was throwing her toy on my stomach when I was doing abs so that was helpful ;)
lol KansasPrincess11. I just have a cat, so hopefully I won't be bothered too much, even though she rarely lets me out of her sight.
Im starting tomorw, not loking forward to the pain but i can't wait to see results. Im a little scared i kno im out of shape
I love the Shred... and it is kicking my ass. But what I really want to know is if anyone has had any changes in their body/weight etc. How much have you lost? How much muscle did you gain? Do you see an improvement on how you look?
Yes, I did see a big improvement! It's worth it! I didn't keep any hard stats on my weight. I might even have gained 5-7 lbs of muscle, which was appropriate for my size. My big results started to come in during the second or third month of doing it about 5 days a week. Stick with it.
Omg I am loving this workout, I mean after the first day I thought I was going to die, Who knew i was so out of shape??? But now its much easier, I've never been so motivated to workout!
Ok so I've been doing this video for almost a month, maybe more? And I just felt strong enough to try level two tonight and felt like I was going to DIE! Anyone else feeling like that?!

Day one of level one. whew....
But it was a good workout. Wasn't sure what to expect. I'mma try hard to keep up and will see how i do.
@Sali2011: You can do it!!! I've been doing it for about a month(ish?) and while I'm not doing it every single day like I was I'm still keeping up with it and it's still challenging me!
I've been switching up the 30 day shred, no trouble zones, and burn fat boost metabolism. I've been doing it since Jan. and every is constantly commenting on how great I look! I feel so toned, have lost at least 12 pounds, and have gained muscle.

Holy Cow! I JUST finished my 1st time on level 1 of the 30-day shred. I listened to all the advice I read in the Fitness threads on P90x and 30Day Shred and I went with Jillian because everyone said the P90x was more intense – I’m glad I did!! I’ll admit I was skeptical but girlfriend kicked my butt!! My arms are killing me and I followed the girl doing the modified and used only 3lb weights HAH! Wow I’m outta shape.
It’s great though, I like that she keeps you going, I don’t feel like she’s yelling like some people had said in their posts, but that music will be annoying in a couple day’s time.
Off to shower. Uh… someone wanna wash my hair for me? I dunno if I can lift my arms & do it. LOL
