julesbeeb:  I wore the Jimmy Choo Logan pump. Honestly, they killed my feet. They are so narrow at the toe, I got through our indoor pictures, our ceremony, cocktails, and then switched into flats. That being said, they were gorgeous and look amazing in photos. I wish I had gotten them stretched at the toe, though.

I tried on Jimmy’s and I found them very uncomfortable. With a shoe with that price tag, I had high expectations for comfort, so I decided to pass.

julesbeeb: I know this girl who got the gold Isabel for her wedding and it just seemed strange to my taste. If you’re going to go luxe for your wedding, why get the entry level shoe?

julesbeeb:  My wedding shoes wore a 3.25 heel from Badgley Mischka. After 3 hours of wearing them and being on my feet the whole time, I stated how they were killing me at some point during bridal party pics. One of my awesome bridesmaids who wears the same size as me had on a pair of Jimmy Choo’s. She took them off and said try these. Even though they were higher than my BM shoes, they had a good incline from the front so it supported my feet so much better. I wore them the rest of the day and my feet hardly hurt. I only took them off the last hour when I was dancing like a maniac and any shoe wouldn’t have been comfortable at that point!

I don’t like Jimmy Choo, I find they always run too narrow for my foot. There are similar priced brands that are worlds more comfortable.

julesbeeb: Any particular reason that you have to get a lower heel for the wedding? If you won’t be wearing the Choos again after the wedding because you prefer a higher heel, I’d just spend less on another pair of wedding shoes. I purchased the Evelyns for my wedding and it was worth the splurge for me because I plan on wearing them again. Plus I have tiny feet and Choos fit me nicely compared to lower end designers or brands.

julesbeeb:  I bought the Jimmy Choo Clue pumps a while back, knowing that I would wear them for my wedding. I’ve since worn them to two formal events and have been pretty comfortable for at least 2-3 hours (with some walking/standing around). I find that a ball of foot insert helps a lot to alleviate pressure. You can definitely wear the Isabel’s to other events in the future- they’re so versatile, and will get you lots of compliments =) Just make sure you break them in ahead of the wedding day.

My arches are super SUUUPER arched. The Jimmy Choos actually feel great when I wear them for that reason. I feel like they’re really supportive in that area.

That being said, we’ll see how I fare in August when I get to take the ladies out for the full ride.

julesbeeb:  gelaine22:  BlondeBee:  Sorry, I didn’t have the context to your height + dress length. My point was more about if you were getting those Choos for the brand, because fabric shoes are easily ruined / lower quality than their leather shoes. They are also lower than your typical heel. So in my mind, not worth it — the cost per wear just isn’t there with a fabric shoe so you’re basically paying for the name. Based on your query, “thoughts?” I shared my perspective based on the limited information given.

However, if the Choos are the best of your available options and they’re comfortable, then go for it! Nordstrom has an excellent return policy, so you can hang on to them while still peeping Nordstrom Rack, Gilt, etc. to see if they go on sale in the meantime. I’ve also seen them go on sale on the Jimmy Choo site, so just keep an eye out. Regardless of what you choose, I’m sure your feet will be adorable.
