Just curious if you mean JJ House? I got my shoes from there and know they do replica dresses or something as well. I’ve never heard of Jin Jin House. I also looked it up and couldn’t find anything…

As I said before, I only got my shoes from them but I’m not a fan of their policies. When I was waiting for my shoe order to be processed or whatever I had second thoughts and wanted to cancel. They told me I could only have a partial refund at that time (a certain number of days had passed). Now, I know they have that policy in place in case someone wants to cancel after a dress is in production. They want to make up for the time spent working on the order so far. BUT, they do not make the shoes themselves. They are mass produced. (I know this because I wanted to get something slightly different and was told they couldn’t because they don’t make them). So I would think that since they are not out any time or money if I cancel my shoe order before it is shipped, I should get a full refund. Not cool, IMO.

I know that doesn’t really help you with dresses but it’s a little insight into dealing with them. I got quick responses to my questions and the actual shipping was pretty fast (the time it took to get the already made shoes into a box and in the mail to me was not).

@mrslawrencetobe:  I ordered my dress last night, I’ll update you in 4 weeks (when its supposed to arrive), I talked to a bee that ordered a dress a few years ago and said she didn’t reccommend it, it was bad quality, but I’ve heard more recently that people had good experiences, and they were having a huge sale so I decided to go for it.

I know someone who ordered a prom/pageant dress. She said it was identical in quality to the one she had tried on in a store here. She was very pleased. Hope that eases your fears a little. 🙂

@mrslawrencetobe:  A friend of mine just ordered a bridesmaids dress from JJshouse for her sisters wedding. I saw the bridesmaid dress, and it was pretty good quality! It was definitely well made, and if I didnt know better, I would have thought she bought it from a store somewhere here in Canada.

So, quality-wise, I would say they are a-okay!

@mrslawrencetobe: Ok so I said 4 weeks was when my dress was supposed to come, my dress just came, after a week! It fits like a glove, I love it.

The only thing is, any beading will be lower quality, and the material will be a lower grade, so I went with chiffon, because even cheap chiffon looks good. I think where people go wrong is shiny material, because you’ll get stuck with that really cheap looking shine.

As far as my dress goes, the top sparkly part is just cheapish sequins (I ordered an ivory party dress, not a ‘wedding’ dress) but I was ok with that, because I have a gorgeous Maggie Sottero dress that I’m wearing for the ceremony, but its just so heavy, and I wanted a lighter weight party dress for the reception. This dress is still lined all the way through, and great quality, the only part that would be a little less than perfect is the beading on the sequined part could be a little better stitched, but the way I see it, for one night, i’m not concerned.

Any other questions, let me know 😀 I’d order from them again, and considering getting the bridesmaid dresses there too.
