Alright so i was seeing how various bees have been working out with that video and they’ve seen results.. Now i have the dvd i’ve tried it for a week its great just a few questions.. what size weights do you use? how often do you do it? when did you start doing it? how much weight have you lost so far? how badly do you just want to throw one of your weights at her face? (:

I use 8 lb weights… I did it every day for about a month and a week, now I’m in my midterms induced “lazy break” stage that I really need to break out of! I lost about 5 lbs on it, but I really don’t have much to lose weight wise, maybe another 10 lbs. Mostly I needed to tone up much more. (Read: I have barely any muscle mass, it’s sad!)
And I aimed my punches at Jillian at first! After awhile though, I felt like “oh, that’s all you’ve got?”

I only use 3lb weights and I do it mon-thu sometimes fridays .. and if not on friday sometime during the weekend.

Uh… I use 2 lb weights (I know I know, but hubby suggested it cuz I’m a beginner 🙂 so 4 lbs total. I’m only on day 2, but I’m also pairing it with toning tables so it’s an every other day thing for me. I saw some good results on the toning tables themselves, so I’ve got the Shred goin now and we’ll see what happens.
I don’t ever cuss at her, but on day 1 I called her a crazy person and my hubby started laughing.

I’m on day 19…I did 15 days straight, took a day off, and then picked back up. I use 3 pound weights. Tomorrow I plan on trying level 3. We’ll see how that goes…I’m sure I’ll be swearing quite a bit. I’m not really concerned with my weight, but I have been noticing that my muscles seem a little more toned and I definitely have more energy on a daily basis, so that’s been great. Once I finish the 30 days I plan on trying some other workout videos.

the shred kicks my butt everytime! whenever i start it after neglecting for a while, the next day i feel like an old person who cant walk standing up all the way. i have tried it using different weights…anywhere from 2-5 lbs each. I don’t yell at her too much. I mostly just laugh at the things she says and just try to keep up.

I use 5 pound weights because that’s what I have. I’m getting stronger so I might pick up a pir of 8 pound weights next time I’m at Target.
