i was given some awesome pre-shower registry gifts when i went home this weekend, and i also was able to leaf through my mom's engagement/guest book.. it was great! it was so cool to see her wedding announcement clipped from the newspaper and the story of how they were engaged, showers, etc.
how are you guys keeping track of all this stuff? It made me realize that i should document all these fun times for a future daughter or niece to look over one day!
I'm blogging, it's keeing the family informed, and giving me an outlet for my creativity and to vent once in a while so all you gals don't have to hear it constantly...lol
It's been going great and I'm already considering doing a post-wedding one since mine now is simply about my "trip to the altar"
It is SO neat you got to look back on your moms stuff, I am very jealous! My mother has none of this and I feel left out a bit. Cherish those items! And keep passing them down!!!
