I know this was a month ago, but maybe we can be juicing buddies! I’m going to aim for a 30 day starting April 1. The longest I’ve gone is 10 days, and I LOVED IT. Hoping the 30 days will be a great kick start getting back to healthy eating habits I’ve been ignoring lately!

My juicing got pushed back so I am on day 1 today! Feeling pretty tired and run down, with a really bad headache, though this is usual for my first day. I know I just have to push past today and the next few days will be much easier once I get into the swing of things. Let me know how things are going with you!

I’m on day 14 and down 12.4 lbs! Wooo! I think I am going to shoot for 30 days. I’m already halfway there! I’m coasting.

I know these are really unpopular here, but I am a fan of cleansing once in awhile.  I plan on starting one tomorrow 🙂  I usually do the Master’s Cleanse because of the results.  I’ve found everything in the book to be true.  Once I start feeling too dehydrated though, I usually stop and ease into light foods & veggies.

Good luck ladies!

@deetroitwhat:  I know(what you mean about it being unpopular around here)! I think that people tend to have an aversion to things they don’t fully understand, and are quick to make judgements about things being “healthy” or not. The theories behind juice fasting/feasting make sense to me, and I make sure to listen to my body. I like it and it makes me feel good/lose weight! Even if it isn’t as beneficial as I hope/believe, it’s probably a LOT better than the standard american diet. People eat terrible/unhealthy things every day and you don’t usually see people getting so worked up over it like they do when the topic of cleansing/juicing comes up! I make no judgements about what anyone thinks is best for them.

Master cleanse is intense! Good luck, keep us posted!

@jessicadarling:  Yeah, I see your point.  It is intense, but also eye-opening and quite frankly disgusting what your body holds on to.  I need to make a point to be more proactive in clean eating/paleo… summer sounds like a good time after the cleanse!
