We finally have our month-twin boards!
My FI and I have set the date: July 16, 2011. We have the reception and ceremony locations booked and we're now looking into photography. :) So exciting! It's getting close to a year and a half, which is much less time than the 28 months till the wedding from the date we got engaged.
Any others on this date or in this month?

Barker: Date twins!!!!!! Eeee yay! We should keep in contact about how planning is going. We're in Cincinnati.
Lorna: Ahhh so exciting to have a date picked. I am so glad we have our month board to enjoy now!
Gemstone: Yes we def. have to keep in contact so we can lean on each other for support while going through this whole wedding planning process! My fi and I live in Macomb, IL but will be having the wedding in his home state of GA!
@VTGirlinMA: Yay date triplets!!! Your venue is BEAUTIFUL! What kind of location is that?
It's actually a local college outside Boston. Parts of the campus has two old mansions and this beautiful tower!

How far along are you in your planning?
So far I have venue & church & photographer booked.
Welcome Miss Catherine!!! Sounds like you have the "big" things booked....good for you! We're similar...we have the church, venue, and DJ and we are about to book our photographer. :)
I am also a July 16th, 2011 bride to be! (And I think this might be my first board post on weddingbee.)
We've booked the venue (rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and brunch), and with it came catering. We have our photographer, dj, and wedding coordinator booked as well, and we have a list of other vendors we're planning on booking after talking out the remainder of our budget with our planner. :)
Here's to hoping this gets planned quickly. I hate being stressed and feeling rushed at the end.

Me and my guy = July 16, 2011. I am getting so excited now that it's a little more than 13 months away. We've been engaged since January, so now that it's getting close to only a year away I'm thrilled. I'm glad to find the July 2011 board. You all can understand what it means for your wedding to still be a lot of months away, but to still be excited like it's tomorrow.

I'm going to be a third generation July bride - my grandmother and mother are/were both teachers so it's the perfect time! July 16, 2011 - within a few days of my parents' 26th and my grandparents (god-willing) 58th!

Hi everyone! My wedding date is July 16,2011. OMG I am so excited. Planning is moving along. My fiancè and I are going to actually go cake tasting for the top tier of our "cake" the first week of December. Its the first thing I have done with him since the planning began! YAY!!!
@pinkbutrfli32: Welcome and congratulations! We are going to start cake-tasting too! I can't wait.
We are doing similar to this. About 150 cupcakes (3 flavors) and then the top tier will be the anniversary cake.

hello ladies ! I also am a july 16th 2011 bride to be !!! yay ! im so excited . But i have took a break since before thanksgiving but im ready to start again after christmas. me and my FI have so much to do in jan. and feb. and march. So it's about ready to go in to full force. im kinda nervous . Is any other brides to be nervous ??????

New to weddingbee--- 7-16-11 too! we've only been engaged for a month, any advice on putting weddings together in 7 months?!?!
Ceremony/Venue/Catering/Cake all booked for the same place, dress, and photographer done... but thats it. Yikes!
We're getting married July 16, 2011 as well! Though we just got engaged so we have a little under 7 months to plan. So far so good, we have a photographer, venue (ceremony & reception), musician, and I have ordered my wedding dress! I'm just hoping it gets here on time AND that I can get all the alterations done as quickly as possible.

Add me to the July 16th ladies!!!! I lost my 23rd date to a golf tournament so cross your fingers that I will be able to lock down my new date this week!
Bridal party chosen, e-pics taken, a few reception items purchased...but besides that.....omg...I've got a looooooooong way to go.
