Ahhh! So excited! Can I just say that I feel slightly more "legitimate" now? A few vendors looked at me like, lady, your wedding is over a year away!
I agree! When we were talking to vendors in summer of '09, I honestly think a few of them didn't believe us. I wanted to say, "Hello, I have a college degree. I'm an adult. And I'm getting married in 2011!"
I LOVE being able to say that the wedding is less than a year away!
For me, July 16th is not a "hard date" just yet, but it should be solid any time now! Crossing fingers!

Hi Everyone!!!!!! Im am honored to join you in the count down...I am also getiing married July 16, 2011 in New Jersey <3 I am sooooo Excited...I've been engaged since November 26, 2009 and I am Ready...I have booked the ceremony, reception, florist, and invitation vendors..im still looking for a DJ and favor ideas..so if anyone has any suggestions feel free to chim on in!!!!!!

We're going to do our own favors and try to keep them pretty, but cheap. That's all I know about favors as of now. :)
How are all you July 16th brides coming along? We just sent half our save the dates yesterday and the other half will be sent tomorrow (the post office ran out of 5 cent stamps). I'm still vacillating between making my own invitations and getting them made because all the headache everyone seems to go through making their own invites might kill me. I am so not a DIY queen. Forget queen, I'm not even a DIY ant.
@spunbutterfly: Good work on save the dates. We're waiting a few more months to send ours. Also, we'll be making our own invites.

Yay !!! i am so excited ! I am getting married july 16th too ! The 16th is a very special to us cause we meet on october 16th 2006 and we got engaged october 16th 2009 and now july 16th 2011 we are getting married ! i am so excited !
Ladies , if anyone has any ideas for reception foods i would greatly apperciate them !

Mrs.tobe- I have heard of them. They look good, but I just booked with Dash of Class and I just saw them at a wedding recently...they were fantastic! So just in case you didn't book yet with Primetimenj.
7 MONTHS! All of my 'wedding websites' like theknot.com and weddingwire.com are emailing me to remind me! Doesn't it seem like that'll go so fast?? Yikes! :)
Wow, I cannot believe I just found this website. I love it. Yay, I'm getting married in Texas, but planning from Bermuda!! So far so good, but feeling a little more rushed on this side of things!!
