My wedding is the day before yours! I'm excited about the DIY, too.

Go Cubbies :) One day away is close enough to be a date twin! I am sure more will join that weekend as this year goes by and more people decide to get married next year!
I am a July 17, 2010 bride!
We have been engaged for a year and a half already, and still have a year to go!
We have our venue (my parent's house/backyard in upstate New York) picked out for both the ceremony and reception.
We have booked a photographer (we are flying in Cesar and Tanya Perez from Dallas! Crazy, I know, but the are SO talented, are a really cool couple, and totally worked within our budget).
We've got (tentative) colors and theme-ish picked out (I say theme-ish because its more like inspiration than a theme, per se)... We are going with white, latte, turquoise/aquamarine, and green, and have a lot of spa inspiration going on.
I've pinpointed a caterer, but we are still up in the air about it...
We have some ceremony details settled, we know we're DIYing a ton of stuff (flowers, music, decor, bouquets, bouts, invitations -- I bought a gocco and have got big DIY plans for *all* of our paper products from invitations to cocktail napkins, lol!).
Hmmm... what else?
Oh! I have my dress!
had to change my date :( ......... now looking forward to 8/7/10!!!

I'm a July 17, 2010 bride too! So excited - it's only a year away! 
So far, we've picked a venue, caterer, and photographer. And I think I've found THE dress, but since we've still got a ways to go, I'm holding off on buying it for now.
Being a teacher, this day is perfect since its just about the middle of the summer. I've got a church, venue, photgrapher, and that's about it. I've been working on designing my own invitation and other paper products.
I've started looking for a dress, I even went out once and tried a couple on, but shopping has never been my thing (esspecially for dresses because they never seem to fit me correctly).
I keep telling myself that I have a whole year, but in the back of my mind I know that time will fly!
YEAH!! One year from today we will be getting married!!!!!

i'm 7/17/10 bride. we are getting married in a beautiful park at sunset.

have my dj 'cause hubby is a dj. so his friend is gonna do it-totally free!
have found my reception site. gonna book that hopefully this weekend.
found a dress, going to put it on layaway next month.
getting my wedding photographed for free (2 cousins will be doing it)
reserving my candy buffet next month, which are the favors.
gotta find a caterer, someone to bake my cakes, and floralist.
i guess that's about it!

I am so excited to find so many people I share a date with!

All I have left are the RSVPs (we had to wait because of food choices), the OOT bags, the rehearsal dinner location, and a bunch of DIY projects. I cannot wait!
Wow! I'm at 7/17/10 bride too... but I'm feeling pretty far behind!
I think the hardest thing for me to do will be to choose centerpieces because I've found SO many that I really like.

alot to do but a lot is done! Im going to India to do all my wedding shopping so the dress and bridal party will be taken care of there as well as the invitations!!! HOW EXCITINGGGGGGGGGG!
We have everything but the invitations and thank you's done, rsvp's....tuxes and wedding bands.
Very excited about everything, we've been engaged for 1 1/2 years already, so I'm excited to really get going on all the little details with everything!!!
