So we're in the home stretch! I feel like I've planned my wedding in the last few weeks because they've been such a whirlwind! It's amazing how everything is really coming together now!

Today, I booked our "mini-moon" to Atlantic City, NJ. Nothing fancy but a chance to at least get away for a few days. Maybe win a jackpot and at least go to the beach!
My dress is ready, so I am going for my final fitting tomorrow!
We finalized our food today and bought as much of the advance stuff as possible. It looks like we're going to feed 90 for just about $400, and I suspect we're going to have more food than we need. I almost want to beef up the appetizer selection, but we're having an afterparty with wings and nachos so maybe not!
I've completely planned the afterparty in only the last week.
I just ordered our photo guestbook (on rush because I waited to get our e-pics back from the photographer and we only took them on June 4!).
And now I am just working on seating charts. I have the seating itself done, but I am stuck on how to display escort cards. Of all things to get stumped about! I still need to do our music for the reception.

But all in all, I'd say I can start to see it happening. Woo!

How's everyone else doing now that we're in the single digits?

@Amaryllis:FREAKING OUT> Freaking the F out. Who knew that I wan't done planning? Apparently my DOC needs a timeline. I was all laid back letting out any annoying bride stuff out here on WB, but it is spilling into my everyday life now. YUCK.

But yeah, I am definitely doing all this last minute stuff that I thought would be "no big deal" that I probably should have done earlier!

@Amaryllis: Thanks. Yeah, my boss asked why I was so stressed at work today "Isn't this the home stretch and you should just be able to kick back and relax?"

It took everything I had not to punch him (or even joke punch him). Apparently I *did* turn angry red and yell a little bit. OOPS.

Good luck on your last minute stuff!!

I still need to: DIY flowers, finish planning and attend bachelorette party, get to SF (I leave in 3 days), make a friggin timeline, set up day-of, buy chupah poles, buy back up shoes, go to my last fitting and get my dress, and do some last minute check ins with my vendors.

I was on my way to the golf course yesterday to drop off my seating plan and escort cards.....when my cousin called to say her kids had chicken pox and they weren't coming anymore! AHHHH! Had to redo the seating chart and escort cards which was very frustrating.

I guess when you're having a party for more than 100 people, there are bound to be a few bumps a long the way! Good luck ladies!

whoaaa just saw this post! I am astonished that people know me. haha =)

I am freaking out, to say the least.

My last shift of work was today, so the next two days can be full of nothing but wedding (and figuring out how to call the UK so I can order some stuff from the british side of our company!)

rehearsal was last night and the ceremony loc. were total douches and didn't reserve the proper time, so that was a flop. We spent the entire last weekend (apart from saturday, bachelorette) at the emergency vet because our cat was sick.

On the bright side, most of my DIY is done, just have to re-print out the i-spy cards because apparently, "someone" is not spelled "sometone" and "photographer" isn't "photohapher" (I think I was drunk when I made them)

Sighhh...I could go on for DAYS.

I'm just ready for it to be over!
