Hi Ladies! I know that we're a ways out and some haven't started with too much planning, but I'm curious about your colors. Do you have an inspirational pic to go with it.
I'll start. I chose berry colors. Think raspberry, blueberry, boysenberry, and plumberry. In regular colors: fuschia, and purple with hints of blue. Here's a picture to give you a better idea.
Hi! I can finally say that I am a July bride. We booked our location this week! We are getting married near the lake with lots of trees around which just so happens to go with the theme that I'd already had planned out (in my head, at least). We are doing the natural theme with shades of brown and tan and mossy natural greens and such. I know the theme is being done so much right now, but I just fell in love with it...
Miss CharmBracelet- those are my colors too!! Well, sub out the blue for silver. I picked out some random paper for an envelope liner and it has transformed into the color pallate. I did read that purple was going to be the IT shade for 2010 weddings so hopefully we'll have lots of inspiration out there. I'm with you though, plummy berry color versus PURPLE. ack!
I'm so excited to see what you come up with!
I am having a wedding on a terrace overlooking the beach. Our colors are yellow and chartruse green accented with white.
I've been talked out of toooo much color, so have settled on a bright royal blue and lime green, with hints of yellow and white to tame it down a bit.
We picked red and orange tones like these. I am in love with the color combo wasabi green and pumpkin orange, so we might change it a little before the day.
Ours are navy blue, white and black. Sadly I have no inspiration boards to show you, but we love love love our colours.
I have chosen cream black and vintage pinks. Black bridesmaids dresses and accents, and cream for background like things, and different pinks for the color. A few ideas below:
The FI and I have chosen a black and white theme with some green accents. I think it will look classy yet youthful and fun! We are getting married over the 4th, so we wanted to avoid the "4th of July color scheme". We were close to choosing aqua and red...I just love how bright it looks!
Believe it or not we're having Fushia, Turquoise, Spa, orange, and apple green. Its our Kodachrome Wedding :-) I'll post my board soon.
We keep changing our colors! Originally we were thinking red and black, then we wanted tiffany blue and brown, now we're leaning towards pink and brown... sheesh... we need to get our act together!
We have changed our colors three times, and I am not changing them again, LOL!! Our colors are rose petal pink and pistachio green.
I'm obsessed with this inspiration board, but our reception venue has a black and gold carpet and black and gold banquet chairs (that are nice and we'd really like to use with out having to rent chair covers). But I'm concerned about the navy and black clashing, so now I'm thinking fuschia and pool blue. Thoughts?
Our colours are navy blue and yellow with either white or silver accents.....we're still trying to nail it down :P
Hey JuneBees!!
Our colors are: Orange, Aqua & Brown! We're goin' w/ a beachy-island theme :)
Navy & Chocolate brown with crisp white accents.
I'm obsessed with all things nautical (it reminds me of when I was a kid) and I love navy with white! I threw in Chocolate brown because I needed something to tie in our colors to our venue which has a lot of neutral colors.
Our colors are charcoal gray, light pink and lavendar. We are using Champagne and dark purple for accents. I sadly have not even made an inspiration board - but I want to!! Maybe I will try to figure it out tonight!
We are doing peachy coral, chocoalte and champage/beige; rustic/romantic them!
I wanted our colors to be bright and fun...after 9 months of engagement I finally decided on sapphire blue, deep amethyst purple, bright spring green, and shots of hot pink here and there. I love jewel tones and accents of bright colors. My bridesmaids are wearing the blue and carrying purple and green flowers. My bouquet will be primarily deep blue with the purple, green, and maybe a couple hot pink lilies. I really need to make an inspiration board because I've been collecting a few pictures.
We are doing very similar to LaLaLand's colors, but with a tiny dash of orange in also.
My colors are pool, green, silver, and a yellow cream color.
It's like a beach medow theme, but not so much of the beach.
It's like the tall green meadow grass right before the sand to the beach.
Inspiration picture:
Red, White, and Blue! as least tacky as possible. Little difficult, but coming along OK so far! FI and I Military, Military family, very patriotic. 4th of July weekend so it was fitting!
My girls are gonna be in a kind of plum shade...its purple but on the warmer side...not a blue-purple. Their flowers are gonna be a fresh green and white. So my wedding will be green and white with accents of the purple...kinda like this pic I found...
We're using the classic black, white and red color combo. Mainly because our house is already decorated in those colors, so any wedding leftovers can be used as decor. Not to mention I can get all that red Christmas ribbon and such on clearance later this winter... :)
Our colors are turquoise blue and apple green with black and white (I have black on my dress) The colors are bright, similar to these (the GM's vests), but we are also including granny smith apples into our decor =)
