Feeling nervous here with 8 days to! (can you believe that EIGHT DAYS???)
I'm steadily crossing things off my master list but still need to do some stuff - like get cylinders for a mantle arrangement. silk screen some more coasters and cocktail napkins and finalize playlists.
Oh - and write our vows!!!
MzMarzipan you sound just like me!!! My done list (what I have done this week) and to do list are almost the same as yours. I was excited to finally see the weather forcast for Saturday as well and it will be a hot one here too in SC too, but at least the chances for rain are slim. I also just got my e-ring back from being re-dipped and cleaned and I missed it so much, but i am in the same boat about not wanting to wear it and get it "dirty". I love crossing things off that to do list, it feels so good. Can't wait until July 25th when relaxation can set in!!!
I'm slightly freaking out! I'm supposed to move this weekend (well, not officially...but move the majority of my stuff to FH's house cause this is when people are available to help) and my house is nowhere near packed. So I haven't even touched wedding stuff this week! Luckily, I have all next week off work to get all my little projects done.
Just checked the 10-day...it's going to be hot here too! 92 and sunny, and probably humidity to match.
I am so excited!! But, I am a little bit nervous. It is supposed to rain on wed, thur and fri and be sunny on sat (yeah! wedding day). I just hope that the rain doesn't extend into saturday. :( I am so crossing my fingers *^-^*
Well girls, we're in the single digits now. Only 8 days to go. I can't believe how fast it's gone. Good luck with all the last minute stuff...try not to stress.
7 days!! Crazy eh?! Everything seems to be in order for my big day. Just liquor and gift bags left to buy! Forecast is a little crappy here in Canada for the big day, hot (30 C)+ humidity and chance of thunderstorms :( - still has 7 days to change though! Congrats Ladies! Try not to have too stressful of a week!
I am stalking the national weather service! Yesterday, it said Sat. would be hot with 60% chance of scattered thunderstorms and today it says, hot, partly sunny with a 20% chance of rain. I hope it doesn't change!
I still have favors, programs, escort cards, table numbers, folding all the napkins (they wanted $150 to do this), keep my wheatgrass centerpieces alive, and finishing up my slideshow and playlist.
Wow, we are all here together going through the same things!! Sooo cool:) I'm def. stalking the weather forecast too! At first all the days surrounding Sat. we're raining and Sat. was clear but 91 degrees, but then it changed to Sat. being raining and humid!! Ahh, I hope it changes again. Anyways, tons to do this week...keep it touch girls!
Deep breaths! Got the seating chart figured out today! I have a few things I am stressing about...we have to get event insurance (no biggie) but found out we have to have a host liquor license (not so great) but we will get it all figured out tomorrow.
FI finished scanning in photos for slide show (videographer will be putting it together for us...feel bad we are getting them to him so late, but this is how the FI works...last minute!).
Still gotta do those those programs, table numbers (names) and escort cards. Also, I have to cover a cupcakes stand...I think it sounds easier than it will actually be :(
But its all good, cause at the end of the week I will be a Mrs. and on my was to a fantastic honeymoon!
Just gotta keep reminding myself about those deep breaths!
I wish the forcast would stop changing. 84 and sunny right now is perfect...please please please no thunderstorms. GL ladies on all your last minute details, our day is only 5 days away now!! eek
5 days!!!! Time is moving quickly. I hope all of retain our sanity during this crazy week!
Good to know everyone else is stalking the weather! It's said everything here from 84 and 0% precipitation, to 93 and 60% precipitation. Ugh!
The axe has also officially fallen on our first DIY project....and the photo booth is out. Boo and hiss. This was the one thing I wanted, but since no one really seems to care about it besides me, and no one wants to help out with putting it together, I shelved it. Oh well. :)
We are almost there ladies!!
2 DAYS!!!!! and I have the sniffles! I am loading up on vitamins B and C...hoping to kick this thing quick! I laughed when the pharmacist told me to get lots of rest!
Thank god for wonderful bridesmaids and good friends. One of my girls is a graphic designer and has offered to do the layout for my programs (yes, these are still not finished!) and her mom is covering the cupcakes stand for me! My mom and sister are coming over tomorrow night and will help me with the escort cards. I keep telling myself, 'yes, it will all get done!'
Wow! The wedding is just around the corner! I am so excited! I finished up EVERY DETAIL yesterday (minus one minor thing). It felt so good. Now, we get to enjoy having our family and friends in town!
Ah!! Our weddings are technically today! I am up finishing last minute stuff. Oh, and I still have to do more when I wake up! Yikes. NBD. Our table "numbers" turned out badly so I'm off to Kinko's in the morning.
We've had lots of "hiccups" in the past week or so. Table/seating chart mix-ups which resulted in getting more centerpieces, rearraniging the seating chart and making new place cards, 5 people cancelling (everytime a person cancels it's $50 out the window), the venue lost the ipod hook-up, I went to the doc for a sore throat and she said I also have a sinus infection and bronchitis, still have scars from the poison ivy, and FH just sliced himself badly trying to fix the table #'s.
So someone is trying to tell us something or we are just a couple who can make it through anything!
Congratulations girls...it is finally our day! All of the planning is done...of course there are still some last details to attend to, but today is the! I am wishing you all a happy, stress free day and many years of love to come! Good luck girls!
