Weddingbee boards

Hi bees,

So, what do know about planning? I feel like I hardly know anything.

Here's kind of the outline of what I know. What am I missing?

And what are you doing?

Date     July 3 He picked it! 

Dress          I got my dress! A trumpet. :) He hasn't seen it, but will probably like it.

Venue   Got it!                                       I found it, he approved.

Colors    Blue, Red, Gold    We came up with it together.

"theme" (not sure if it will be a theme, but it's a traditional marine corps wedding) 

DJ/Band/Music      Nothing yet. Wiil put him in charge of this (he wants it)

Videographer   not sure if we'll do it          

Photography   i found several                    he's ambivalent

Catering  comes with venue--we haven't chosen the menu yet

Favors      chocolates? wine glasses? tumbler?    he wants a rootbeer float glass

Flowers   mom wants to do them as a family thing. he doesn't care. (no florist)

Cake     um.... i hate cake (and cupcakes)      his idea: 2 layers of cake, our top layer=cheese cake!

Bridesmaids   matching colors                         have to completely match

Groomsmen    only partially chosen

(we have only asked our best man/maids of honor so far)

Ceremony script -- not written yet, that will be a task!

What else is there? I have posted *everything* I can think of. What am I forgetting? What are your ideas?

*Note: legally we just got married, but it won't be real until we have the ceremony (July 4th weekend!)
