    Does anyone have any good color ideas to go with a vibrant red bridesmaid dresses that won't make them look too patriotic?

    Hmm...that's a tough one. Green looks like christmas, white and traditional blue patriotic - what about aqua? What are you trying to pick a color for?

    Depending on what you are using the other color for, you can use lighter and darker shades of color in the red family (like brown or pink).  Gold and red usually pairs up nicely too.

    if it's flowers i think a combo of reds, yellows and oranges look pretty and refreshing together. Great for a summer wedding! Like this:

    I agree with MsAnnabanana even though I couldn't follow her link.

     

    I would think reds/oranges/yellows (although typically used for fall) would look nice against reds.

    Greens could work without looking too Christmas-y if you chose them from lighter shades- pales greens instead of dark green.  Maybe hydrangeas or something?
