Ugh. SO much to do. The big things are done, but it seems like there is an endless list of all of the little things. Pretty much all of my DIY projects still need to get done. Also, there are a lot of things that I need to purchase -- like gifts for parents, wedding party, etc, some things to decorate with...
We're working on designing our invitations right now. We're going to be able to print them on our home printer. Yippee!! After the invites are done, then we need to design programs (and write our entire ceremony), cocktail menus, escort cards, signage, etc.
Ha, I'm so behind. Just decided on a date this week! Still have to find a caterer, that's supposed to happen in the next few days, but we're going to the beach instead... oh well, it'll all work out in the end!
Hmm..Major things are done, venue, vendor deposits, etc. Now it's picking out cake colors/design, finding shoes, mostly detail stuff...The invites are DIY and all I have to do is print them off, which I will do this weekend!
My list is so long, I don't know where to start.
This weekend we're finalizing the tuxes!! I'm also working on the music selection for our ceremony, wedding shower hostess gifts, ordering invitations and thank you notes, out of town bags, favors, and our wedding party gifts.
I also sat down yesterday and revised my massive to do list. Its all on paper, which makes me feel more organized. But its a LONG list and that stresses me out!
What is everyone else working on?
Ahhh so I'm not the only one with a long list.... I feel like I should be way further ahead than I am right now! Grr so frustrating!
Right now I'm trying to figure out how to do our DIY invitations (loooove Miss Cola's!- I'm trying to find the energy to make my own pocketfolds...), we still need to find suits for the guys, pick songs for the ceremony and reception, and lots and lots and lots and lots of details!
oh im probably behind too. all of the big things are done except for the cake and invitations. im going for a cake tasting tomorrow and ordering it tomorrow. & im waiting to order invitations until FI knows his duty station, which will be in may. i also have to finish my centerpieces, but im half way done :)
im behind too. i have my caterer but havent sign the contract yet. i will print my invitation but havent figure out the wording. and still working on my registry.
Now I'm working on what to do about a guest book, gifts for our parents, getting a slip to go under my dress, finalizing our cake with a baker, finishing printing invitations (we did pocketfolds, and it seems the printing never ends), getting pew bows for the ceremony, putting together favors, and ordering "little things" like wedding bubbles!
We finally booked the reception site this week! So, even though we still don't have the caterer, invitations, cake or photographer, I'm feeling good!
