How are you doing? Getting nervous? Anxious? Excited?  Have you reached a lull?

My FI are so excited! We have a count down of about 138 more days.  So far the wedding planning has been so much fun and I almost don't want it to end, except that when it does I get to be married.

I've reached a total lull and I hate it! I'm planning from out of town and got a chance to knock out all the big stuff a couple months ago, so now I'm bored. I've had to keep myself from working on our invitations (that don't need to go out for another 2 months), just because I have nothing else to do. I've started buying my bridesmaids' gifts to keep myself entertained in the meantime :) I feel like throughout the planning process I have done everything just a *little* bit too early, but I'm hoping it'll start paying off in another month or two when I'm not up to my eyeballs in wedding tasks (well, anymore than I already will be anyway).

Ha, I wish I were in a lull as well. We have vendors booked, but we need to start looking at invitations and suits for the groom/groomsmen. Also, all those little teensy tiny details need to be worked out such as flowers, favors, table linens for the reception. I tend to get aggravated when planning gets in the way of just enjoying time with my FI.  Definitely wishing I could afford a wedding planner! ;)

We're totally behind!  We need a ring for him, clothing for him and the GM, a florist (just for personal flowers, not centerpieces), need to rent chairs and find someone to set them up, need to write the ceremony, and do a ton of crafts. Plus we're getting into that fun period when more money starts to come due. I'm getting totally stressed out! We did just order invited though (but still haven't mailed the save the dates!).

Hi! We hit a lull but then things sort of hit all at once this week and the future Mr. is out of town with no cell phone reception. It's been so hard not to be able to talk him about the wedding! I was feeling like he really did not care, but not being able to talk to him made me realize he does, he trusts me to make the decisions, but I bounce every single one of them off of him. Ah. The tough part is that we are both out of town from the wedding site and out of town from each other. Things will get done, though! They have to!

I'm so far behind!  I don't have a florist, invites, musicians for the ceremony, rings, tuxes, or any of the little details done!  I'm getting so stressed but I just don't have time to fit it all in with school and being 350 miles from home.  I'm hoping that when I'll be able to get the last few big things done in the next week or two and then wait on all of the little things until after finals.

I was in kind of a "wedding rut" recently- I was SO over the whole wedding and just sick of planning.  But tonight I lined about 1/3 of my envelopes and made a to-do list of wedding projects to finish this weekend, plus FI's cousin just finished my invitation proofs, so I'm starting to get excited again!:)

    Yaaaaaaaaaaaay July brides!!!

@bethy362: Since you have quite a bit to do, could you delgate to some friends you trust? For example have a friend check things out for you and come back with 3 or 4 options.  Narrowing things down for you will help you with time. Just a thought.

We're actually doing "okay". I still need to get him off his waffle-fit over which guy he wants to ask to be his best man, and then we move on to what they're going to wear. (I tackle one item at a time on him or he starts getting a dazed look on his face!)

Other than that, the next big hurdle is invitations. I've got those designed and ready to go to the printer, as soon as they can give me a quote! I've gotten the samples of the bamboo plates that we were thinking about using for the reception, and they look great for our casual backyard wedding. Now if the wood silverware samples will just get here!

Still to work on: table/chair/tent rentals, florist, setting hair/makeup appointment, order favors. And I'm sure there's something else I'm forgetting but I'm feeling awfully calm about all of this!

OK i think I'm one of those super relaxed brides.. I dont even feel like in getting married this year..lol.. we slowly been knocking things out of the way.. and everything is going so perfectly.. maybe thats why im so cool about it.

My sister told me that im crazy for being so calm.. she told me i need to sit there and plan, plan, and plan..lol.. im not that kind of person.. I call one person to find out what they offer and ill probably stick with them.. does that make me a bad bride??

let's not even talk about it!  i have so much to do and soooo many more deposits to pay.  heck i haven't even found a caterer.  some of their prices are straight up ridiculous!  slowly but surely we are doing things one by one.  oh and i had my cake tasting today.  my mom is turning into a momzilla!  hmmmmm what else???  not only are my weekends full of rundings (that's my new word running around for weddings), my weekdays are too!

and look at me!  on the weddingbee at 3 am still looking for things.  sigh

Well I was super stressed but have finally calmed down and decided to try to enjoy the rest of my engagment. On top of all the wedding plans...I have to relocate to another city(Houston)after the wedding with my daughter. I picked July so her school transition would be easier. Its been stressful because my family wasnt thrilled about me and my daughter moving which put a lot of stress on me. They have all finally decided to be happy for us :). I think May will be the month that it gets stressful again with all the final preparations( invitations, his ring, alterations, Favors, wedding formal pictures, honeymoon clothes, passport) I have tried to stay organized with a planner which has made a world of a diffrence for saving, budgeting funds, and putting dates to each task.

I really enjoy this entire process of wedding planning and am so excited for my BIG day...7-10-10 and just realized my nieces bday is 10-10-07...both blessings!!!

    Hey there July bees!!

I can't tell you how excited we are and how much we're looking forward to our wedding! Pretty much everything is done now, so that's a big relief! Now comes putting everything together :] But it's been a great experience and I've enjoyed all of it! Now that we have practically everything done, it feels like it should be a lot sooner! Get here already!!

I'm in a lull. Just about everything is done except for some small details. I'm actually tired of being engaged, LOL. Can't wait to just marry FI.

I'm kind of in a lull -- with a few craft things to work on here and there. =) I hope I'm not forgetting something totally obvious!! I've started looking for BM gifts like whitehydrangea, plus thinking of ideas for gifts for our parents, not to mention a gift for the groom who has everything. I'm planning from a different state, so in May, I'll be going for a week to do a few things, but otherwise, I just have things like the fitting and stuff left. Eee!! Can you believe we're down to 4 months?? =)

I think I'm way too calm. I still need a limo and videographer. And to finalize invites. But I'm totally calm over here.

    Am I missing anything else?

    Congrats to all of us!!!!

I'm glad to see I was not the only one in a lull for a bit!  I'm also planning from afar (live in Philadelphia, wedding in hometown of Ft. Lauderdale area).  We knocked out a bunch of things last August when I was last home, and I'll be home in April to wrap up loose ends.

Now we're getting out of the lull and getting motivated again :)  Still have to do:

    -Groom to get his suit

    -Get our wedding rings

    - Cake Contract

    - Flower Contract

    - Invites (we're on it!)

    - STarting the few DIY things we'll be doing

    - Honeymoon?!!

    Good luck fellow bees!
