    Hi Ladies,

I thought by now, I'd have a lot more done...but I am a procrastinator. I still have quite a few things on my list.

    • Programs
    • Find jewelry
    • menu? (may not do)
    • favors??? (clueless on what to do)

I am sure there is more but these are the ones I am stressing out about right now.

What do you still have to do?

THe biggest thing I have to do is finish making the coursages for the moms & grandmothers.  I'm making them fabric broaches and I only have about 3 left, so that's not a big deal but they are taking longer than I originally thought...  I also need to finish bridesmaids' gifts and then the week of the wedding I have lots of stuff to do, since I'm putting together all of the flowers myself.

Other than that, I'm pretty set...  besides packing for the honeymoon!  :)

    Still need to...

    - finish designing, print, and assemble our programs

    - finish writing our ceremony

    - track down missing RSVPs

    - do table assignments

Oh... and we still have to have our tasting!  We haven't been in the same state as our wedding venue since last July, so our tasting will be happening 1 week before the wedding.  I sure hope we like the food, b/c there's really no going back at this point.

Good luck July brides!  We're almost there!!!

A few things... programs, table signs, finishing touches on the escort cards, nailing down the bridesmaid jewelry, picking out cufflinks, OOT bags - all these things that have been started but need to get finished.

The big thing we have to do is get a florist!  We also have to meet with the officiant and singer/dj, finalize the menu, buy the wine and get a dress for my only attendant.  The boys and groom need shoes too.  Lots of little details to occupy our last month!

I am having my one and only dress fitting this friday! Then we still have to take pictures for our table numbers, paint picture frame centerpieces, order favors, meet with the officiate a few times, burn a cd of all of our wedding music for our DJ, create mine and my dad's song and I think that's the majority of it ;]

Hey July Brides!!  I've got a double-whammy this month... Our DW is July 10 and we are having a local reception on July 31.   What was I thinking?!?!  :)

I just have a few things left for the wedding, but most importantly... found out a photographer was not included in our wedding package, so now scrambling for a photographer.  We have 23 guests going and I am doing OOT bags for everyone.  I have mostly all of the items, just need to do some type of design on the bags themselves. I found these great two-tone beach canvas totes at dollar tree.  Thinking of putting beachy themes on them.  Palm tree, flip flops, stuff pretty generic so they can use them to take to the pool, shopping around town and such.  My dress fitting is June 29.  Finally found shoes!  Sent flower pics to the resort, just need to figure out how detailed they do their cakes there.

Now, the reception is a different story.  Still have to rent a few tables and chairs, finalize centerpieces, but I know what I want...  My FI's aunt is a great cake maker, but will be on vacation that week, so don't know if she's doing ours or not.  Find a pina colada machine - since we're doing a beach theme!!  And still waiting on tons of RSVPs!  Depending on numbers, I may have to order more plates/silverware - since it's all outdoors with no kitchen, we are going with the fancy white plastic dishes that can all be thrown away.  My mom and FI mom were here this weekend and couldn't believe quality of dishes!

Oh yea, I have no clue what I'm wearing to the local reception!!  Gotta find that too!!

Geez, I better go get busy!!

mine reads pretty similar to others!

    • finish drafting the programmes and print and put them together
    • decide on readings and music for the ceremony (have been procrastinating...)
    • sort out some details for our Sunday BBQ & Pool Party (it's much more relaxed than the Saturday so not too bad)
    • Sort the favours/escort cards (wasn't going to do this, and then realised it's easier than a table plan!)
    • Print out personalised menus (pretty simple, just need the final details from our caterer)

I am quite grateful I only have 5 days left of work before the wedding though

I have so much left to do, but seeing other people's lists makes me feel better. My remaining to-do list is:

Have dress altered: taken in & bustle added

    Get shoes!

    Figure out hair & makeup

Call people who haven't RSVP'd, or delegate that to someone else, hopefully

    Make seating chart

    Make mix CD for favor

    Get guestbook, cardbox, place cards

    Menus

Figure out readings and vows...this is a big one.

Get fascinator (buy) and jewelry (borrow)

Jeez I really need to get on it! Part of the problem is that my dress hasn't even arrived in the store yet! Ugh. I will be so happy for this wedding day to finally come.

The big day is July 7th and I'm done.  We have to pick up his pants from the tailor and then that's it.  I just finished our Just Married sign last night --so glad that's done!  All that is left to do is pack and get on a plane to Hawaii.

    i still have to:

    -create ceremony programs

-buy sand and glass for unity ceremony

    -create menu cards

    -buy wedding party gifts

-get back the remainder of RSVPS and start stalking people who haven't sent them back

-buy our alcohol for the reception

-figure out our rehearsal/welcome dinner/cocktail hour...still unsure what to do here

-continue updating our registries (i am awful, people have already started sending gifts and the thing is nowhere near updated!!)

-money card holder for the reception

-get our champagne flutes/guest book engraved

-pick up our wedding bands (after the boy's gets engraved)

-pick out a gift for FI

-get a cake stand for our cake

    -buy a garter

-have my final fitting (didnt need any alterations woohoo!! just bustling, so the final fitting will be for my WP to see how to bustle my dress...)

-umm....3 of my FI's groomsmen have dropped off the face of the earth (one is a junior groomsman, and his mother is being unresponsive to us for some reason) so they havent gotten their fittings done yet....they were supposed to have their measurements in 2 weeks ago....trying not to freak out about that.

within the past 2 weeks, we got our marriage license (woohoo!), found and booked our DJ, TOOK OUR ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS!!!!!! (will share pics when we get them), bought colored sandalwood fans for our ceremony (personalized them to double as wedding favors!), ordered personalize boxes for rum cake favors, ordered bubbles for the ceremony, and ordered personalized out of town bags....EDIt, also had my makeup trial last week too....
