A mix of bright wildflowers in hot pink, orange, lime green, yellow and purple. Focus flowers in bouquets are bicolor pink/orange roses. Centerpieces are built around sunflowers (FI's favorite).

I'm doing a variety of roses, peonies, hydrangea, gardenias, and magnolias in blush pinks and creams/white!

*edit* oops, I thought it said June, sorry! Month difference, though!

I'm making all the flowers from satin & tulle.   The BM bouquets will be yellow/white & green/white, mine will have pink/white added in (their dresses are pink), and I'm unsure of the bouts.  I start my first round this weekend, and while my iphone photo doesn't do them justice, I think they're turning out lovely if I do say so myself=)

Tulips, calla lillies, spider mums, butterfly bush, chrysanthemums, lavender roses, dahlias.

Big list! My area of the country  has a lot of hot houses, so I was relatively unrestricted in what I could pick.

I wanted to have white Anemones with black centers, along with white Ranunculus and green Hypericum berries for my bouquet, but was told that the Anemones won't hold up so well because of the summer heat/humidity.  :(  Super sad day!  The florist suggested orchids (hellooooo expensive!), or mini Calla Lillies to go with the Ranunculus.  I'm thinking maybe Cabbage Roses?  I'm not a huge Rose fan, but Cabbage Roses are pretty!

Aside from that, some sort of green flowers for my maids, and most likely white Tulips for our centerpieces.  All green and white!  :)

Tulips!  (They were a bit out of season, but I didn't mind spending the money, I adore tulips!)

Not 100% sure on this, but I have this entire summer to do trials and see how it turns out, BUT if it does, I'm seriously considering DIY'ing all the BM bouquets as well as my own with flowers from my & my FFIL's gardens which will consist mostly of lilies [various].

From FFIL's garden [they are seriously not this orange, just super-saturated due to the cloudy day]:

From ours [please excuse the blurtastic cell pic]:

I'm atctually going to plant some more bulbs in the next few weeks & I am crossing my fingers for different colours. We have lots of tiny little white wildflowers growing in our garden as well which I might play with too. In the event that it looks horrific, my friend [a florist] has assured me she will rescue me from my madness with her ancient skills of flower-fu. :)

Both pics are from last summer, I'm hoping the blooms will be as nice & proliferate this summer/next!

I chose callas and roses, because I researched that they hold up best in the heat.  It is very hot in WI in July!  And very humid.

Thanks LonnieBunny! We definitely lucked out with our gardens.

If we hadn't any flowers of our own to use we would probably have gone with cala lilies or gerbera daisies since they come in lots of colours and hold up well.

Gerberas are on the less expensive side if I'm remembering correctly, and you can usually get them from grocers & etc rather than direct from a florist, so that would cut costs a little too.

I'm not using flowers for centerpieces, but for our bouquets and boutonnieres, we're using gerber daisies, roses, spray roses, tulips, and mango calla lilies, all in a vibrant orange color!

@Grass.... That is CRAZY... because thats EXACTLY what my flowers are.. Actually I just put the deposit in today. :/

I read a lot about how sensitive they are, and my florist assured me that they would NOT be a problem. Now, I do live in Michigan, but last I checked, it still gets crazy hot here in the summertime. Especially July.

So: white anemones, white ranunculus, hypernicum berries, white gardenias and curly willow... also black feathers...

IM SOOOOOO EXCITED! Good luck in deciding... there is SO much out there!

Local wildflowers and herbs (lavender, mint, basil). I wanted some others but I really want to stay local and not have to have flowers shipped in for the wedding. To keep a more local feel
