So I have all of my responses back, after having to hound a few people.
Not bad…89% acceptance rate, when 2 weeks ago I was worried about only having 60 people. Ahh shows you that you cant worry about stupid things like that.

Wow, that is great! We invited 140 and have 77 attending. Lower than we thought but we are pleased because the room is smallish and this will be a good fit. Though I am a bit peeved at a certain cousin and a couple of friends who I’m very disappointed aren’t coming. I still have one friend who hasn’t RSVPed for her family of four (!) despite two emails and a phone message – not sure what else I can do but mark her down as not attending.

We expected these numbers so everything turned out great! 5 days now!!! 🙂

I am still waiting on a few replies but we’ve got a pretty good turn out so far– And most of the “no’s” were +1’s that I threw on for single people who aren’t bringing anyone.

Oooo, I love hearing from people about this! I’m excited I can participate this time 🙂
Still waiting to hear from 3 people- 1 has no excuse (FMIL’s coworker who Future Mother-In-Law BEGGED us to invite), and 2 were at the Olympic trials but didn’t make the team so they are free and are trying to figure out if they can make it in town (told us they’d let us know by Thursday).
We have an 84% acceptance rate. I’m super happy with how the numbers have come out! Many of the people important to us are able to come, but the room won’t be ultra crowded, so that’s nice!

Adults Accepted — 118
Children Accepted — 24
Decline — 2 adults (+1’s of friends that I asked not to bring dates after I got 100% yes rsvp’s) and 16 children.

Had a whole side of the family for both Fiance & I decline (well not RSVP at all) so lower numbers than expected:
So more declined than accepted, haha! Darn families who just don’t care….

@danicalifornia: Boo on people sucking, but yay on saving money? 😉
Post # 10
Definitely LOL Now that we had such a high decline rate, we can put a bit of money here and there into the budget. More food!

42 day – invited 45, 68 evening – invited 80.

The others I just don’t know. A lot of the non responses are from coworkers who have been waiting for the new schedule to come out so I hope I will be hearing from them in the next few days.
Most of the declines were from out of state family that we expected to decline.
We will just make sure we have enough extra seats just in case.
The caterer and cake we were planning and paying for 50 so it should work out well.
We are a bit relieved that the guest list has ended up on the smaller side: less alcohol to buy!
18 days and counting!!!!!

@MrsLulu: Yes – I think it’s a nice number. I will be saving hundreds on food of course which is a big plus 🙂

80% acceptance rate, which is what we were hoping for!
